'Guruji," I asked Sage Vyas, "why do so many people have knowledge today, yet so little wisdom?'
Before Vyas could answer, Ganesha smiled
'Because knowledge fills the mind. Wisdom humbles it.'
Vyas nodded
"Today, people are taught how to speak. but not how to isten. How to react, but not how to reflect."
I looked around and said
'And what about ego? Why does it seem bigger thar ever?"
Ganesha gently touched his tusk.
"Because many people seek to appear wise rather thar become wise."
"The ego wants to be right. Wisdom wants to understand."
"The ego speaks first. Wisdom listens first."I sat quietly
"Then why are there so manv obstacles in life?"
Vyas smiled.
"Not every obstacle is a punishment."
"Many are teachers disguised as problems."
Ganesha added,
"The obstacle is often not in front of you."
"It is the pride that refuses to learn, the anger that refuses to heal, and the ego that refuses to grow."
The river flowed gently beside us.
Then Ganesha looked at me and said
"The world is full of information, but starving for wisdom."
'The day you choose humility over ego and growth over pride, many of life's obstacles will stop being walls and become pathways."
'The greatest obstacle in life is rarelv the mountain before us, but the ego within us."
