🕊️ PEACE STARTS WITH US. 💙💛

Today, on International Peace Day, the Rotary Club of Sangre Grande joins people around the world in recognizing the power of peace, understanding, respect, unity, and kindness.

Peace is more than the absence of conflict—it begins with the choices we make every day: listening, showing compassion, embracing differences, and taking action to build stronger communities.

🌍 Together, we can create lasting impact and build a more peaceful world.

Let’s choose peace. Let’s choose kindness. Let’s be People of Action. 🤝

📚✨ The reading journey continues!

We continued our Read Aloud initiative at Matura Government School, bringing stories, imagination and the joy of reading to another group of young minds. 💙📖

This session was beautifully facilitated by Rotarian Wendy, who engaged the students through storytelling and encouraged them to explore the wonderful world of books. 🌟

As we continue to support Rotary’s focus area of Basic Literacy & Education, we are reminded that every story shared is an opportunity to inspire, build confidence and nurture a lifelong love for learning.

One story. One child. One brighter future. 📚

📖✨ Every story opens a door to a new world!

The Rotary Club of Sangre Grande brought the joy of reading to Guaico Presbyterian Primary School with a fun and engaging Read Aloud session! 🌟

Through stories, laughter and imagination, we’re helping nurture a love for reading while supporting Rotary’s focus area of Basic Literacy & Education. 📚💙

Because when we help a child discover the power of words, we help open the door to a brighter future.

Read. Inspire. Empower. Serve. 💛

Thank you Secretary and PI Chair Sabrina for facilitating today’s read aloud.

Their enthusiasm, ideas, and passion for community engagement left us feeling truly encouraged about the future of our club. 💙💛
