These kitties unfortunately thought we were an animal shelter too! That’s okay, we’d care for them in the interim.

We’re super grateful to these Form Sixers from Marabella North Secondary School who took time out of the busiest season of the year to deliver these goodies to us.
A special thank you to Mr Dass who coordinated the visit and the Benevolence Society 👏🏻🤝🏼

Headline: Transformation in Action! 🎬✨

Last Saturday, November 29th, we came together to paint and clean the San Fernando Centre for Displaced Persons. The energy was unmatched!

Big shout out to our partners:
🙌 The volunteers from UNESCO and Beyond Paint
🙌 All the community members who assisted
🙌 Prestige Holdings Ltd and KFC for keeping us fed and energized!

Everyone deserves a space that feels safe and cared for. Small acts of kindness restore dignity and remind our displaced brothers and sisters that they are loved. ❤️

𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒂𝒏 𝑭𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒐 𝑪𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒓𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑫𝒊𝒔𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒆𝒅 𝑷𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒔 has officially launched a pioneering Rehabilitation and Reintegration programme for the homeless. Through targeted counselling, we are providing a pathway off the streets that has never existed in this capacity in T&T before.

Thank you to our community for the years of trust, and a major vote of thanks to 𝑷𝒉𝒐𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒙 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒌 𝑮𝒂𝒔 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒄𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒐𝒓𝒔 𝑳𝒕𝒅 for championing this cause and making this project a reality. The early success stories we are seeing are truly inspiring.

Rehabilitation is about more than shelter; it is about the mind. We are deeply committed to addressing the silent crisis of men’s mental health that often leads to displacement. We believe that with the right psychological support, we can help these men heal their trauma and get back on their feet—stronger and more resilient than before.

A cleaner shelter means a safer, brighter space for those who need it most. We’re calling on our community to step forward — your time, your hands, and your heart can make a real impact. Join us for our clean-up on November 29th and help us transform the space our residents depend on.

We’re also in need of cleaning supplies and materials, and any donations — whether items or financial support — will go a long way in helping us get the job done. Together, let’s show what community truly means.

Grateful for the hands that gave so others could eat. Thank you so much to our donor, Aunty Annie ALL THE WAY FROM NEW YORK for providing tonight’s meal. Every contribution helps us continue this mission — your kindness can be the next helping hand.

Rain outside, comfort inside. Nights like this remind us how important shelter and community truly are. Thank you to tonight’s donor, Aunty Annie all the way from New York for providing a warm meal and even warmer hope.

It’s truly amazing to see our residents grow, heal, and move forward with confidence. At our shelter, we don’t just provide a place to stay — we provide proper meals, care, and rehabilitation that empower individuals to rebuild their lives.

Every success story reminds us why we do what we do — because everyone deserves a chance to start again.

Message us today to find out how you can help us continue making a difference.
Together, we can help those in need find hope and independence again.
