The group started with 5 members and then expanded to a total of more than 60 members. Over the years, youths have ventured into tertiary education and occupations. Our group is mainly engaged charitable activities and community development. We believe in Ghandi's saying that we must be the change we wish to see in the world. We are not funded by any sponsors and are a non-governmental organizatio
n. All of the funds we acquire is from fund raising activities. The group is a sub-unit of the senior group of SANSECC and we assist for cultural celebrations as well as other events. In our five years of existence, we have had annual car washes, christmas treats and raffles. This year, 2015, we had our first garage sale and lunch for charity. We have catered food at concerts, and assisted in funding for an injured student. We refurbished the old library in the complex and also restored an antique in the building's yard. Swings were refurbished and placed for the community's use and a bench is currently being refurbished as well. Our projects will continue to grow as well as your group. We invite any youth to join us in making a difference. We are a family and we work together to achieve common goals.
