Gentle reminder for everyone, as we look forward for the sighting of the newmoon to herald in the month of Shawwaal & the blessed day of Id Ul Fitr. I just wanted on behalf of your executive & myself extend Id greetings to all May Allah the supreme accept all our various acts of Ibaadah (Salaah, Quran, Dua, Dhikr, Sadaqah, Zakaah etc.) May he make it a means of entry into his Jannah.Amiyn.

Please note once the moon is sighted whichever day it is Salaatul Id Fitr will be establlished at the masjid @ 8:00AM thereafter we will be having light refreshments ( Pies,doubles Sawine, ice cream etc) and gift bags for the children. Everone is invited to join with us to celebrate our day of Id.

Also anyone wanting to share with us their refresments whether its cakes or delicacies or even fruits be it grapes, bananas, apples etc feel free to bring it along and we will help distribute them

Everyone please be reminded of our Pre. Ramadan Program
"Making this my best Ramadan ever "
Commencing Friday 23rd & Saturday 24th January from after the Maghrib (6:30pm ) until Isha. This week Ustaadh Mujaahid will be focusing on Tahaarah in Ramadan (wudu, istnjah,tayammum, ghusl etc)

Next week 30th & 31st January Ustaadh Musa will be focusing on Salaah in Ramadan ( command, types how to perform it etc).

Following weekend Friday 6th & 7th February, our brother Shaykh Jameel will be focusing on Saum (fasting) in Ramadan

The following weekend Friday 13th February will be an open forum for questions and answers on the various topics covered.

And Saturday 14th February Lecture on the"Quran and Ramadan how do they impact our lives."

Everyone please take notes of the dates and times and make every effort to attend and please bring others with you.

Janazah Announcement
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
We have been asked to announce the passing of our dear brother Rostam Hosein. He was the husband of sister Zoreena Hosein, father of Rehayna and Saaliha. Hosein.
The janazah of our dear brother will be performed today, Monday 29th September at AMICTS Islamic Centre, Calcutta Road #2, Freeport promptly at 2:00PM, then the body will taken to be interned at the Waterloo Muslim cemetery Waterloo.
We pray that Allah have mercy on our brother and forgive him for his short comings,make him firm so he answers his questions correctly in the qabar. May Allah make his transition to the here after a smooth and easy one and reunite him with his Loved ones in jannatul firdaus. May Allah give all those he has left behind the patience and understanding to bear the loss. آمين
