๐Ÿšจ WHEN POLICE & COMMUNITY UNITE, CRIME LOSES! ๐Ÿค

Crime prevention requires a strong partnership between the TTPS and citizens, supported by unity within our communities.

On September 3rd, 2026, Inspector Khan, I/C Couva Police Station, Liaison officer PC Marshall, officers of COPS and Task Force continued their walkabout in Perseverance Village, Couva, meeting and engaging residents.

Joining them from CPSCC were President Bishop Ezekiel Clarke and Mr. Logan.

When we connect, communicate and work together, we build safer communities.

โš–๏ธ COMMUNITY JUSTICE IN ACTION

The Couva Police Station Community Council (CPSCC) was pleased to be part of an important community engagement at the Orange Valley Community Centre on 29/08/2026, bringing together TTPS officers, lawyers, Officers of COPS, community stakeholders, leaders and residents.

One of the most valuable aspects of the initiative was that citizens could receive FREE legal advice and guidance on private and civil matters. โš–๏ธ๐Ÿค๐Ÿฝ

Access to the right information and support can help people resolve disputes peacefully and, in some cases, prevent conflict from escalating into violence.

This is what partnership looks likeโ€”Police + Legal Professionals + Community + Citizens working together toward practical solutions.

At CPSCC, we believe crime prevention must include not only enforcement, but also education, intervention, partnership and addressing issues at their roots.

๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿฝโ™‚๐Ÿ BUILDING STRONGER COMMUNITIES THROUGH UNITY & POSITIVE ACTION
On Saturday, 29th August 2026, the Windsor Park Community Council hosted its inaugural Sports & Family Day at the Windsor Park Recreation Ground, and the Couva Police Station Community Council (CPSCC) was proud to be there in support. ๐Ÿ’™
The CPSCC, led by Chairman Inspector Anand Khan and President Bishop Ezekiel Clarke, joined residents and community stakeholders to support an initiative that brought families, young people, and the wider community together in a positive environment.
Events like these are about much more than sports and entertainment. When communities unite around positive activities, we build stronger relationships, engage our young people in meaningful experiences, and narrow the space in which negative influences and criminal elements can operate.
Community safety is not the responsibility of the police alone. It takes all of usโ€”residents, community organisations, families, businesses and the policeโ€”working together to build communities where people feel connected, valued and protected.
๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ Well done to Mr. Vishal Sirju and the Windsor Park Community Council for taking this important first step. Your commitment to community building is commendable.
Let us continue to show up, stand together and be the change we want to see in our communities. ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡น
๐Ÿ’ฌ What positive community initiative would you like to see next in your community?

โค FAMILY FUN DAY 2026 โ€” COMMUNITY, FAMILY & PARTNERSHIP! โค

Some days are more than events, they become memories.

Family Fun Day 2026 brought approximately 1,000 families together for a day filled with laughter, entertainment, games, food and unforgettable moments. ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ‘งโ€๐Ÿ‘ฆ

This year marked the 9th Annual Family Fun Day hosted by the Love in the House Foundation, and the Couva Police Station Community Council (CPSCC), under the leadership of Chairman Inspector I/C Khan and President Bishop Ezekiel Clarke, was honoured to be invited by Linda and Kyle Guyton and their dedicated team to partner in this special day.

We commend Linda, Kyle and the entire Love in the House Foundation team for 9 years of vision, dedication and service to the community. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝโค

Special appreciation goes to the officers of the Couva Police Station, led by Inspector I/C Khan, for their contribution towards making the event safe and successful. We also recognise the valuable support of COPS, SGT Kanhai, PC Marshall, WPC Jones, WPC Andrews, WPC Commisiong, PC Gill, our volunteers, partners and everyone who worked behind the scenes.

๐ŸŽ’ 1,150 children received back-to-school supplies and school bags, providing meaningful support to families as the new school term begins.

At CPSCC, we believe community safety is also about strengthening families, supporting our youth and building positive relationships.

When police, community organisations, volunteers and citizens come together with one heart and one purpose, amazing things happen.

To everyone who contributed THANK YOU!

This is community. This is partnership. This is service.

BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE IN YOUR COMMUNITY.

We must never forget our socially displaced brothers and sisters. They are human beings first. They deserve dignity, respect, compassion, care and genuine attention.
Sometimes, a meal can provide comfort. A conversation can restore dignity. A helping hand can bring hope. And simply showing someone that they matter can make a difference that extends far beyond what we see.
Together we can build a safer, stronger and more United Couva ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿซก๐Ÿ’œ

๐Ÿซ๐ŸŽจ WE SHOW UP. WE SERVE. WE DO THE NEEDFUL. ALL FOR COMMUNITY! ๐Ÿค๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡น

When it comes to community, we donโ€™t just talk about making a difference, we show up and do the work. ๐Ÿ’ฏ

At the Couva Police Station Community Council (CPSCC), we serve with pride, passion and purpose, because we believe that strong communities are built through partnership, action and a willingness to lend a helping hand. ๐Ÿซก๐Ÿ’œ

It was our absolute pleasure to team up with the Principal and dedicated staff of the Couva Anglican Primary School to assist with repainting the school and helping to create a brighter, more welcoming environment for our children. ๐ŸŽจ๐Ÿซโœจ

This is what community partnership looks like, people coming together, rolling up their sleeves and making a tangible difference. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฟ

To the Principal and staff, thank you for welcoming us and for the continued work you do in shaping the future of our children.

CPSCC SHOWS UP! CPSCC SERVES! CPSCC CARES! ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿซก๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡น

Together, we can build stronger schools, stronger communities and a stronger Trinidad and Tobago.
