I wish to express my sincere gratitude to The Volunteer Factory for the honour bestowed upon me last evening.
I am humbled by this gesture. The establishment of The Volunteer Factory is a significant step toward strengthening community engagement, volunteerism, and national development; and I am proud to have supported its approval and creation.
What is most encouraging, however, is the emergence of a committed and capable leadership team, ready to carry this vision forward.
I take this opportunity to formally acknowledge and introduce the newly appointed Executive of The Volunteer Factory:
Mr. Curtis Shade – Chairman
Mr. Damian Fournillier - Vice Chairman
Mr. Fareed Mohammed – Chief Operating Officer
Dr. Natasha Mohammed - Vice Chair, Education
Mrs. Lynise Burnett-Packette – Vice Chair, Finance
Mr. Shawn Dubé - Vice Chair, Policy & Legal
Mr. Leslie Chang Fong - Vice Chair, Administrative
Mr. Brent Maraj, Mr. Keston Cox, Ms. Valerie Maynard, Mr. Jonathan Fraser Singh and Mrs. Yonette Missigher-Figueira - Communications & Media
Mr. Sulé Joseph - Vice Chair, Welfare
Mr. Patrick Taylor - Vice Chair, Operations
Mr. Anthony Crawford, Mr. Barry Garcia and Mr. Clayton Blackman - Project Directors
This team represents a dynamic group of individuals committed to service, innovation, and community upliftment.
I commend them for stepping forward and encourage all citizens to support and participate in this initiative as we continue working together to build stronger communities.
Thank you once again to The Volunteer Factory for this recognition.
