❤️🐾 LET'S HELP OUR FURRY FAMILY HAVE A CHRISTMAS TO REMEMBER! 🎄🎁🐶

“A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself.” ❤️

And if there is one thing our beautiful dogs deserve, it is to feel that love coming back to them. 🙏❤️

For the last two years, one of our team members has organised a Christmas tip box at work, collecting donations during the three months before Christmas to help our furry family at Aydin Animal Rescue. 🐾❤️

And look what we achieved together!

🎄 First year: £306 collected! 🎄 Last year: £250 collected!

Every single pound helped us provide food for the dogs who depend on us. We are so grateful to everyone who put something into that little box, shared our mission and helped make a difference. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! ❤️🙏

🥰🐾 AND TODAY… OUR CHRISTMAS TIP BOX OPENS AGAIN! 🐾🥰

The box will be opened on Monday, 21 December, and we are hoping that, with your help, we can make this year's collection just as special — or perhaps even better! ❤️🎁

Our Christmas gift to the dogs will be something they truly need and
deserve: good-quality, tasty food to fill their bellies and bring them a little extra happiness this Christmas 🐶❤️

We are asking our friends, families, colleagues and kind supporters to please stand beside our Aydin furry family once again this year.They cannot ask you themselves, but we can ask on their behalf. 🙏🐶

Our rescue looks after hundreds of dogs, and every day we do our best to make sure they are fed, safe and cared for. Christmas is no different — their little tummies will still need filling, and they are counting on us. ❤️

Breaking News! 🙈🐾

After months of introducing Elsa as a beautiful girl, we have received new information from Elsa himself...

"Excuse me, humans, but I'm actually a boy." 💙

Yes, it turns out our beloved three-legged Elsa is not a girl after all! Somewhere along the way, we got it wrong, and the name simply stayed.

The funniest part? His passport already says Elsa, so Elsa he remains! 🤣

Nothing else has changed. He is still the same brave, gentle soul we all know and love. He is still preparing for his journey to the UK, and he is still dreaming of the forever home he deserves. ❤️🏡

As for us... when you care for more than 300 dogs at the sanctuary, help hundreds more outside the farm, rush to emergencies, organise vet visits, rescue abandoned puppies, and spend your days covered in muddy paw prints, sometimes little details escape you. 😅

Rescue life is often beautiful chaos. There are long days, sleepless nights, happy endings, heartbreaks, and apparently the occasional surprise discovery that a dog you've been calling "she" is actually a "he." 🙈

Thank you for laughing with us, supporting us, and loving Elsa exactly as he is.

After all, Elsa/Elsan? 🤔 doesn't care what we call him... as long as dinner arrives on time! 🐾💙

Do you see him hiding his bread under the soil? 🥺

Many dogs who have known hunger learn to save food for later. When you never know where your next meal will come from, every piece of bread becomes precious.

Even though he is safe with us now and receives food every day, old habits can stay in a dog's heart for a very long time. So he carefully hides his treasure, just in case tomorrow is different.

We wish every dog could forget what hunger feels like. 💔🐾

She is coming... ❤️

Oh beautiful lady, your car can barely move, filled to the brim with gifts for our furry family. 🙏🐾🥰

This week, Nicola Morgan visited our farm for the very first time, and what a visit it was.

Her car was packed with dry puppy food, wet food for dogs and cats, flea and tick treatments, ear drops, plastic dog beds, soft beds, blankets, toys, cat balls, and so much more. Every corner of her car was filled with kindness, and every item was brought with love.

But Nicola's story started long before she arrived at our gates.

For more than 15 years, she has been helping animals in need. Twice every year she travels between the UK and Turkey, and her journey becomes a rescue mission of its own. Through Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, and every place in between, Nicola watches for animals who need help. Hungry dogs are fed. Stray cats are not forgotten. Blankets, beds, food, comfort, and kindness are shared wherever she goes.

No dog left behind. No cat ignored. ❤️

What makes this even more beautiful is that Nicola is not alone. Her wonderful husband and children share her compassion and support her every step of the way. Helping animals is truly a family effort, and what an incredible family they are.

We never asked Nicola for help. She came to us with an open heart and simply offered whatever she could. From the moment we met her, we could see that her kindness is genuine and her love for animals knows no borders.

Nicola, thank you for making your first visit to Aydin Animal Rescue so special. Thank you for every mile travelled, every bag carried, every animal fed along the road, and every act of kindness you have given over the years.

The dogs and cats may never know how far you travelled for them, but they will feel your love in every full tummy, every warm blanket, and every comfortable bed. ❤️🐾

Just when we were dreaming of your future, our hearts were shattered.

The kennel you should have slept in feels empty. The life you should have lived will forever stay in our thoughts.

We will remember your gentle soul, your courage, and the hope we carried for you.

Happy Birthday, Hakki! 🎂🐾❤️

Today we celebrate a truly remarkable person and one of the biggest animal lovers we have ever known 💙

Every morning and every evening, no matter the weather, Hakki is out feeding dogs in the mountains, fields, roads, and villages. Hundreds of animals know his voice, recognize his car, and run to greet him because they know food, kindness, and safety have arrived.

But Hakki's dedication does not end there.

He is always there for our farm too. From organising neutering programmes and helping countless animals receive veterinary care, to building fences, making improvements, repairing, cleaning, transporting dogs, collecting food, and responding to emergencies at any hour. Whenever there is a problem, a rescue, or a dog in need, Hakki is only a phone call away.

He is constantly in contact with all of us, helping to find solutions, making plans, and doing whatever is needed for the animals. No task is too big, no journey too far, and no animal too unimportant.

Many people love animals, but Hakki has dedicated his life to helping them. His compassion, commitment, and selflessness have changed the lives of thousands of dogs over the years.

Today, on your birthday, we want to thank you for every early morning, every late night, every kilometre driven, every bag of food carried, every emergency answered, and every life saved 💖

The dogs may not be able to write a birthday card, but if they could, we think they would all say the same thing:

"Thank you, Hakki. We know your voice, we know your heart, and we love you." ❤️🐾

Today is World Animal Day 🐾❤️

A day to celebrate animals, but also a day to remember our responsibility towards them.

Every life matters.

From the 330+ dogs and 60+ cats living safely on our farm, to the hundreds of dogs waiting for food and kindness in the mountains, fields, roads, and villages around us — each one feels hunger, fear, comfort, love, and happiness just as we do.

Animals do not choose where they are born. They do not choose to be abandoned, neglected, injured, or left to survive alone. As humans, we have a responsibility to protect, care for, and respect every living being that shares this world with us.

Every bowl of food, every clean water bowl, every rescue, every vet visit, every adoption, every act of kindness makes a difference.

Today, on World Animal Day, we would like to thank every supporter, volunteer, sponsor, adopter, and follower who stands beside us.
Because of you, many animals have known love, safety, and hope.

Please continue to be a voice for those who cannot speak for themselves. Be kind. Help when you can. Teach compassion. Together we can create a better world for animals.

💔🐾 Next to our farm, on the side of the road, we found this little puppy.

Just look at him... his skin is raw, covered in wounds, and his tiny body tells a story of so much suffering 😥 How long has he been without proper food? Without clean water? Without comfort? We simply don't know..

Our hearts break for him. No animal should have to start life this way 😥

But today, his story begins to change 🙏

We are grateful that whoever left him here chose to leave him next to our farm, where he had a chance to be found. Had he been left in the mountains or far from help, he may never have survived 💔

Gulsum immediately took him into our care. He is now safe, warm, and surrounded by people who will fight for him.

This precious soul needs treatment, medication, good food, and time to heal. And he is not alone. Our rescue family grows every single day, with more animals arriving needing urgent help.

It is difficult to keep asking. We know many of you have already helped, shared, donated, and supported us in countless ways. But the truth is, we could never do this without you..

If you are able to help with this puppy's care, even a small donation can make a difference. If you cannot donate, a share can help his story reach someone who can.
