ضمن برنامج “بناء الصمود المحلي” الذي تنفذه منظمة بنيان بالتعاون مع منظمة الأغذية والزراعة للأمم المتحدة (FAO) في محافظات حماة، حمص، إدلب، واللاذقية، يشارك المزارعون في تدريبات متخصصة حول إدارة الموارد المائية وأساليب الري الحديثة.
تعرف المشاركون على أهمية تحليل التربة لتحديد الاحتياج الحقيقي للمياه، وأساليب الري الحديثة مثل التنقيط والرش، إضافة إلى طرق مكافحة الآفات الزراعية وتحسين الإنتاج الزراعي.
كما أكد المزارعون خلال الجلسات على أهمية تطوير مشاريع تجميع المياه وإنشاء السدود الصغيرة للاستفادة من مياه الأمطار وتعزيز استدامة الموارد المائية في المنطقة.

As part of the “Building Local Resilience” program implemented by Bonyan Organization in partnership with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), farmers across Hama, Homs, Idlib, and Lattakia are participating in specialized training sessions focused on water resource management and modern irrigation techniques.
Participants gained practical knowledge on the importance of soil analysis to accurately determine crop water needs, in addition to learning about modern irrigation methods such as drip and sprinkler systems, as well as effective approaches to pest management and improving agricultural productivity.
During the sessions, farmers also highlighted the importance of developing water harvesting projects and constructing small-scale dams to better utilize rainfall and strengthen the sustainability of water resources in the region.

بتمويل من مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة والأعمال الإنسانية، وتنفيذ منظمة بنيان
تشهد أعمال إعادة تأهيل مستودع إكثار البذار في الليرمون تقدماً ملموساً. قامت الورشات الفنية المتخصصة بتنفيذ أعمال تفصيل وتصنيع البوابات المعدنية للمستودع. وقد تم تصميم هذه الأبواب بدقة متناهية وفقاً لأعلى المعايير الهندسية والفنية، بما يضمن تحقيق أقصى درجات الأمن والحماية للمخزون الاستراتيجي من البذار، وبالتالي المساهمة في الحفاظ على جودة المحاصيل ودعم استدامة الإنتاج الزراعي في المنطقة.

Funded by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center KSRelief and implemented by Bonyan Organization, rehabilitation works at the seed multiplication warehouse in Al-Layramoun are progressing steadily.
Specialized technical teams have completed the fabrication of custom metal gates for the facility. Engineered to rigorous technical standards, these gates are designed to ensure a high level of security and protection for strategic seed reserves—safeguarding seed quality and contributing to the sustainability of agricultural production in the area.

Recognizing teachers as the foundation of any successful educational process, Bonyan Organization regularly conducts teacher development circles across its education project schools in Idlib, with the aim of enhancing the quality of education provided to children.
These sessions are carefully designed to help educators adapt to the rapidly changing teaching conditions and strengthen their capacity to respond to evolving classroom needs. The discussions focus on contemporary and practical topics, including strategies for supporting children returning to education, promoting inclusive learning environments, and providing effective support for children with special needs.
By creating a collaborative space for dialogue and exchange, these sessions enable teachers to share best practices, discuss challenges openly, and develop practical approaches that contribute to improving teaching performance and enriching the overall learning experience.

في إطار مشروع إعادة تأهيل مستودع إكثار البذار في الليرمون بحلب، والذي يتم بتمويل من مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة والأعمال الإنسانية وتنفيذ منظمة بنيان، تتواصل الأعمال الإنشائية وفق أعلى المعايير الهندسية. تشمل المرحلة الحالية استمرار تنفيذ صب البيتون المسلح للأجزاء المتضررة في سقف المستودع نتيجة تعرضها للاستهداف أثناء الحرب، وهي عملية فنية دقيقة تهدف إلى تعزيز السلامة الإنشائية ورفع الكفاءة التشغيلية للمرفق.
يتميز هذا المستودع بسعة تخزينية كبيرة مما يجعله عنصراً مهماً في دعم القطاع الزراعي لمدينة حلب وريفها.

As part of the rehabilitation of the seed multiplication warehouse in Al-Layramoun, Aleppo funded by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center KSRelief and implemented by Bonyan Organization construction works continue in line with high engineering standards.
The current phase focuses on reinforced concrete casting for damaged sections of the warehouse roof, which were impacted during the conflict. This is a precise technical process aimed at strengthening structural integrity and improving the facility’s operational efficiency.
With its substantial storage capacity, the warehouse serves as a critical asset in supporting the agricultural sector across Aleppo and its surrounding areas.

في بيئة يسودها الاحترام وتبادل الخبرات، شارك أولياء الأمور ومقدّمو الرعاية في جلسات المهارات الوالدية التي نفّذها فريق الحماية في منظمة بنيان.
ركّزت الجلسات على أساليب التربية الإيجابية، والتواصل الفعّال مع الأطفال، وإدارة السلوك بطرق داعمة خالية من العنف، بما يُسهم في تعزيز العلاقات الأسرية وبناء بيئة آمنة ومستقرة لنمو الأطفال.

In a respectful and collaborative setting, parents and caregivers took part in parenting skills sessions delivered by Bonyan’s protection team.
The sessions focused on positive parenting approaches, effective communication with children, and non-violent, supportive behavior management strengthening family relationships and fostering safe, stable environments where children can develop and thrive.

في رحلة تمكين المزارعين، انطلق مشروع تعزيز قدرات المزارعين في إدارة المياه والري وكانت الانطلاقة في حماة، كبداية لسلسلة تدريبات ستشمل إدلب، حمص، واللاذقية.
هنا، حيث تعتمد الحياة على كل قطرة ماء، اجتمع المزارعون ليتعلموا كيف يحولون التحديات إلى فرص.
كانت التدريبات بمثابة نافذة على عالم جديد من المعرفة، تركز على كيفية إدارة مياه الري بذكاء، وفهم الدور الحيوي لشبكات الري في استدامة أراضيهم. الأهم من ذلك، تعلموا كيفية إجراء الصيانة الدورية لهذه الشبكات ومحطات الضخ، ليصبحوا هم حراس هذه الموارد الثمينة. عبّر المزارعون عن سعادتهم الكبيرة بالفوائد الملموسة التي اكتسبوها، مؤكدين أن هذه المهارات ستغير طريقة عملهم وتضمن لهم حصاداً أوفر ومستقبلاً أكثر استقراراً.

As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen farmers’ resilience, a capacity-building program on water management and irrigation has been launched—beginning in Hama as the first phase of a broader training series that will extend to Idlib, Homs, and Lattakia.
In regions where livelihoods depend on every drop of water, farmers came together to explore practical ways to turn challenges into opportunities. The training opened the door to applied knowledge, focusing on efficient irrigation management and a deeper understanding of the critical role irrigation networks play in sustaining agricultural land.
Participants also gained hands-on skills in routine maintenance of irrigation systems and pumping stations empowering them to take an active role in safeguarding these vital resources. Farmers expressed strong appreciation for the tangible benefits of the training, noting that these skills will enhance their practices, improve yields, and support a more stable and sustainable future.

إطلاق مشروع جديد بالتعاون مع منظمة الأغذية والزراعة (الفاو).
يهدف إلى تحسين إدارة الموارد المائية وتعزيز كفاءة أنظمة الري، بما يدعم استقرار القطاع الزراعي ويرفع إنتاجية المحاصيل في أربع محافظات هي إدلب، حماة، حمص، واللاذقية.

يركّز المشروع على ضمان موثوقية إمدادات المياه وإطالة موسم النمو، من خلال تطبيق تقنيات متقدمة في الري وتجميع المياه واستخدامها بكفاءة. كما يتضمن إدخال نظام لإدارة مستجمعات المياه على نطاق واسع، بما يعزز استدامة الموارد المائية على المدى الطويل.

يمثل هذا التدخل خطوة عملية نحو تطوير حلول مستدامة تدعم الأمن الغذائي، وتساند المجتمعات الزراعية في مواجهة التحديات المتزايدة.

We have launched a new project in cooperation with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) to strengthen water resource management and improve irrigation efficiency.

The initiative targets Idlib, Hama, Homs, and Lattakia, with a focus on supporting agricultural stability and increasing crop productivity through more reliable and efficient water use.

The project focuses on securing more reliable water supply and extending the growing season through the application of advanced irrigation techniques and improved water harvesting and utilization practices. It also introduces a large-scale watershed management approach to promote the sustainable use of water resources over the long term.

This initiative builds on ongoing efforts to deliver practical, scalable solutions that enhance food security and support farming communities in addressing evolving challenges.

ضمن مشروع إعادة التأهيل في حيان بمحافظة حلب، وبتمويل من قطر الخيرية وتنفيذ منظمة بنيان، بحضور فريق الإشراف تم اتخاذ خطوة مهمة لضمان جودة الأعمال.
هدفت هذه الخطوة إلى التأكد من مطابقة العينات لدفتر الشروط الفنية الصارمة، مما يمهد الطريق للبدء بعمليات إعادة التأهيل في منطقة حيان. ستشمل هذه الأعمال العديد من المرافق الخدمية الحيوية في المنطقة، ومن المتوقع أن تساهم بشكل مباشر في دعم الاستقرار وتشجيع عودة الأهالي إلى بلدتهم

As part of the rehabilitation project in Hayan, Aleppo Governorate funded by Qatar Charity and implemented by Bonyan Organization—a key step has been taken, in the presence of the supervision team, to ensure the quality and compliance of the works.
This process focused on verifying that material samples meet the project’s strict technical specifications, paving the way for the commencement of rehabilitation activities in the area. The intervention will cover a range of essential service facilities and is expected to contribute directly to restoring stability and encouraging the return of residents to their community.
