An inspiring meeting took place last week in Kampala, Uganda, under the auspices of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) as part of the RAF 0065 project. All chapter presidents came together to discuss strategies for promoting the role of women in nuclear science and raising awareness about nuclear technologies. The event was honored by the presence of H.E. the Minister of Technology during the launch of the Women in Nuclear chapters in Uganda and Benin. I was very happy to participate as President of Women In Nuclear Tunisia, contributing to this meaningful gathering and exchanging ideas on advancing the role of women in the nuclear field. Special thanks to the PMO of the RAF 0065 project, Ms.Amal Elrefaei, for her outstanding support and coordination, and to the host country, Uganda, for their warm welcome and excellent organization.
