Gender inequality affects social, economic, and political structures worldwide. Addressing gender inequality is crucial for several reasons:

1. Human Rights & Social Justice

• Every individual deserves equal rights and opportunities, regardless of gender.

• Gender inequality leads to discrimination, violence, and oppression, particularly against women and marginalized gender groups.

2. Growth & Development

• Gender equality contributes to economic prosperity, as women’s participation in the work field leads to increased productivity and innovation.

3. Education & Health

• Education leads to a better health outcomes, lower child mortality rates, and improved family well-being.

• Gender inequality in healthcare access affects women's reproductive rights and overall health.

4. Political & Leadership Representation

• Women and marginalized gender groups are underrepresented in leadership roles, which affects decision making and policy development.

5. Violence & Safety

• Gender inequality perpetuates gender-based violence, including domestic abuse, harassment, and sexual violence. Equal rights and protections help reduce violence and create safer societies.
