Serimónia solene ida-ne’e la’ós deit despedida, maibé mos rekoñesimentu ba kontribuisaun bo'ot ne’ebé nia fó iha luta ba libertasaun, konsolidasaun independénsia, no dezenvolvimentu kontinua ba rai doben Timor-Leste.
Dr. Lú-Olo hanesan figura nacional ida ne’ebé fó papel importante iha tempu luta ba ukun-án ka soberania, nu'udar mos Eis-Presidente Assembleia Constituente no Eis-Presidente da República.
Hanesan líder no estadista ida, Dr Lú-olo kontinua servisu ho laran metin atu fortalece dame, unidade nasional no demokrasia iha Timor-Leste. Ninian lideransa, matenek no perseveransa sai inspirasaun ba jerasaun barak, no nia legadu sei hela nafatin iha memória kolektivu povu Timor-Leste nian.

Tribute to the Late Dr. Francisco Guterres “Lú-Olo”
Today, on a day filled with sorrow and reflection, the Catholic Scouts of Timor-Leste (CEC-TL) gather to honor the memory of the late Dr. Lú-Olo, a leader whose life was marked by unwavering commitment, dedication, and sacrifice for the people and the nation of Timor-Leste.
This solemn ceremony is not merely a farewell, but also a recognition of his immense contributions to the struggle for liberation, the consolidation of independence, and the ongoing development of our beloved homeland.
Dr. Lú-Olo was a true national figure, playing a decisive role during the fight for sovereignty, serving as the former President of the Constituent Assembly and later as the President of the Republic.
As a leader and statesman, Dr. Lú-Olo continued his service with steadfast resolve to strengthen peace, national unity, and democracy in Timor-Leste. His leadership, wisdom, and perseverance became an inspiration for many generations, and his legacy will remain alive in the collective memory of the Timorese people.
Through this tribute and wake, the CEC-TL expresses its highest respect and heartfelt gratitude for the great service rendered by Dr. Lú-Olo throughout his lifetime.
In this moment of mourning, we stand together in solidarity and unity, reaffirming the values he fought for—values that will continue to guide our nation and future generations.
