Fundasaun Hadomi Timor (FHT) is pleased to announce the final selection of Master Trainers and ASEAN Digital GrandPals.

Following the final interviews conducted on 22 August 2026, 10 candidates were selected as Master Trainers and 3 candidates were selected as ASEAN Digital GrandPals.

General Criteria:

✅ Women are strongly encouraged to apply - target of at least 55% women

FHT Launches Scam Ready ASEAN Programme

Dili, 10 August 2026, (FHT) is proud to launch the Scam Ready ASEAN Programme in Timor-Leste as a local partner of the ASEAN Foundation, with financial support from Google.org.

The programme comes at a critical time. Between August 2025 and July 2026, authorities detained 367 individuals in connection with scam centre cases in Oecusse, Dili and Liquiçá. UNODC has also warned about Timor-Leste’s emerging vulnerability to scam centre operations.

In Timor-Leste, FHT will implement the programme across Dili, Ermera, Baucau, Aileu and Liquiçá, reaching 1,000 beneficiaries and strengthening communities’ capacity to recognise, prevent and respond to online scams and fraud.
