On 16/5/2026, IDOR met with the President of KSTL at the IDOR office to discuss ways to strengthen communities in the informal economic sector. At the same time, the President also explained the role of KSTL, which for many years has continued to struggle and advocate in Timor-Leste. 🌱

The objective of this meeting was to build cooperation between groups and associations so they can work and struggle together for a better future for workers in Ermera. 🫡

IDOR and FJDTL organized members and the community of ERVILHAT sub village, LAUALA Village, involving also members of CVTL and several members of Forsa Humanista, to conduct training on PERMACULTURE FARMING and SOIL TREATMENT USING NATURAL SYSTEMS.

This activity also received support from Oxfam in Timor-Leste and Permatil to complete the TOT program in ERMERA. The training included both theory and practical sessions for three days, starting from 5 May until 7 May 2026.

IDOR organized members to conduct training on rainwater management through theory and practice on rainwater harvesting, reservoir tanks, infiltration wells, and biopores at the IDOR compound.
The objective of this training is to complete the TOT training in Ermera. This activity was also supported by Oxfam in Timor-Leste and facilitated by Permatil.

We would like to express our gratitude to Oxfam Timor-Leste and Permatil for their support through materials and equipment, which made it possible to successfully complete the TOT program in Ermera.
IDOR conducted training for members of the We Kinor Horticulture Group and the TUGLURU community on Climate-Smart Agriculture, with a focus on permaculture farming.
This activity was carried out over three (3) days, including both theory and practical sessions, starting from Monday, April 27 to Wednesday, April 29, 2026.
