This afternoon, 28th March 2026, the Covalima Rotaractors distributed basic food supplies to victims of a fire that affected an elderly woman and man living with their grandson in Bonuk, a small village in Labarai Village, Suai administrative post, of Covalima Municipality.

This activity was part of the Rotaractors’ commitment to supporting vulnerable communities and providing immediate assistance to those in need. The assistance aimed to help ease the burden of the affected family during this difficult time.

The activity was supported by the club’s sponsor, the Rotary Club of Mundingburra, Australia, whose contribution made this humanitarian effort possible. The Covalima Rotaractors expressed their sincere gratitude for the continued support and collaboration in serving the community.
