Every day, our team cares for the women and children who come to Casa Vida. This time, the focus was on them. 💛

Nurses, midwives, social workers and psychologists from Dili sat down with the U.S. Navy Pacific Partnership team to talk about stress, burnout, and the weight of carrying other people's stories.

Care that lasts starts with the people who give it. Thank you to Pacific Partnership for strengthening the wellbeing of our team, so they can keep showing up for the families who need them. 🙏

An empty house has a new story to tell❤️

Last July, the Yooralla team from Australia rolled up their sleeves with our staff to get Domin House ready for the young mothers and children who call it home today.

What was once a dusty building is now a place where families begin again. Thank you to everyone who helped make it happen. 💛

This monthly External Case Coordination Meeting, in Dili, brought together our Social Work Team with psychologist and nurse, along with representatives from ALFELA, Clinic Vera Cruz, INDDICA, JSMP, and the Ministry of Social Solidarity and Inclusion (MSSI).

Each month, we sit down together to follow the progress and well-being of the girls and young women in our care, strengthening communication, improving case management, enhancing multi-sectoral collaboration, and ensuring that services are delivered through a coordinated, client-centered approach.

A Bigger Frame Makes a Difference for the Whole Community. ❤️❤️

In partnership with DIMES Social Investors, Casa Vida continued implementing key protection activities for women and children during June and July 2026.

Through community awareness and socialization activities, 301 participants received information on child protection, violence prevention, and available support services.

These photos show the wider frame: people gathering, learning together, asking questions, and taking part in conversations that strengthen protection within the community.

When more people are included in the conversation, the whole community can see more clearly where support is available.

Supported by Polish aid, Casa Vida brought the programme "Improved Health and Psychosocial Well-Being of Child Abuse Survivors in Communities and Shelters" to Liquiçá District on 16–17 July.

Across Suku Lauhata, Suku Maubara Lissa, and Suku Mota-ulun, 115 participants joined community health awareness sessions and training led by Casa Vida’s nurse and midwife team.

The sessions covered personal hygiene, family planning, reproductive health, nutrition, and psychosocial well-being. Participants also took part in basic health checks and discussions about practical health support in their communities.

This programme connects health knowledge with local participation and everyday community life.

Casa Vida thanks Polish aid, the participating communities, and the health team who made these sessions possible.

This role leads and coordinates project implementation, ensures quality service delivery, supervises program activities, supports reporting, maintains partner relationships, and helps achieve organizational goals.

What we look for:

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Community Development, Project Management, International Development, or related field
• 2-3 years in project or program management
• NGO experience is highly desirable
• Experience in donor reporting, grant management, and team supervision is an advantage
• Experience in working with women, children, and vulnerable communities is an advantage

Responsibilities & Languages:

• Lead the planning, implementation, and monitoring of Casa Vida programs
• Prepare project reports and donor updates
• Manage budgets, activities, compliance, and donor requirements
• Build relationships with partners, donors, and stakeholders
• Support fundraising and project development initiatives
• Tetum and English required. Portuguese is highly desirable
