The spirit of spring came alive at the Dushanbe Navruz Fest 2026, held on April 4, 2026 a vibrant celebration of renewal, hope and unity. Held at the beautiful Navruzgoh Hippodrome the festival brought together culture, tradition and joy through mesmerizing folk performances, traditional games, delicious local cuisine, and engaging activities for all ages.

We are proud to share that the Afghan Women Immigrants Council(AWICT) actively participated in this meaningful event. Our team prepared several handcrafted exhibition tables, showcasing homemade cakes, cookies and traditional sweets, handmade jewelry, beautifully crafted bags and our rich cultural clothing. It was a wonderful opportunity to represent our heritage, creativity and skills.

Members of the Afghan Women Immigrants Council also had a strong and active presence, proudly presenting Afghan culture, art and the talents of women to the wider community.

It was truly a day filled with connection, cultural pride and shared happiness with friends, families and the wider community.

روح بهار در جشن نوروز دوشنبه ۲۰۲۶ زنده شد
جشنی پرشور از نو شدن، امید و همبستگی. این جشن در مکان زیبای هیپودروم نوروزگاه برگزار شد و فرهنگ، عنعنات و شادی را از طریق اجراهای دل‌انگیز فولکلور، بازی‌های سنتی، غذاهای محلی لذیذ و برنامه‌های سرگرم‌کننده برای تمام سنین به نمایش گذاشت.

با افتخار به اشتراک می‌گذاریم که شورای زنان مهاجر افغان (AWICT) نیز به‌گونهٔ فعال در این رویداد باارزش اشتراک داشت. تیم ما چندین غرفهٔ نمایشگاهی دست‌ساز آماده کرد که شامل کیک‌ها، کلچه‌ها و شیرینی‌های سنتی خانگی، زیورات دست‌ساز، بکس‌های زیبا و لباس‌های فرهنگی غنی ما بود. این یک فرصت عالی بود تا فرهنگ، خلاقیت و مهارت‌های خود را به نمایش بگذاریم.

اعضای شورای زنان مهاجر افغان نیز حضور قوی و فعال داشتند و با افتخار فرهنگ، هنر و استعدادهای زنان افغان را به جامعهٔ گسترده‌تر معرفی کردند.

این واقعاً روزی پُر از همدلی، افتخار فرهنگی و شادی مشترک با دوستان، خانواده‌ها و جامعهٔ بزرگ‌تر بود.

به مناسبت ۸ مارچ روز جهانی زن، شورای زنان مهاجر افغان این روز ارزشمند را به تمام زنان افغانستان و جهان صمیمانه تبریک و تهنیت عرض می‌نماید. این روز فرصتی است برای پاسداشت تلاش‌ها، دستاوردها و نقش مهم زنان در رشد و پیشرفت جوامع.

همچنان اعضای بورد شورای زنان مهاجر افغان با حضور در برنامه‌ی ویژه‌ای که در سفارت افغانستان به مناسبت گرامی‌داشت این روز برگزار گردیده بود، اشتراک نموده و از مقام والای زن تجلیل به عمل آوردند.

در این محفل، بر اهمیت توانمندی زنان، همبستگی و حمایت از نقش فعال آنان در عرصه‌های اجتماعی، فرهنگی و اقتصادی تأکید گردید.

شورای زنان مهاجر افغان بار دیگر فرا رسیدن روز جهانی زن را به همه بانوان تبریک گفته و برای آنان آرزوی موفقیت، سربلندی و آینده‌ای روشن می‌نماید.

On the occasion of International Women’s Day ( March 8 ), the Afghan Women Immigrants Council sincerely extends its warm congratulations to all women of Afghanistan and around the world. This day is an opportunity to honor the efforts, achievements and the important role of women in the growth and progress of societies.

Members of the Board of the Afghan Women Immigrant Council also attended a special event held at the Embassy of Afghanistan in Dushanbe to commemorate this important day and to celebrate the dignity and value of women.

During the gathering, emphasis was placed on women’s empowerment, solidarity and supporting their active role in social, cultural and economic spheres.

Once again, the Afghan Women Immigrants Council congratulates all women on International Women’s Day and wishes them continued success, pride and a bright future.

We are excited to share that the first session of our Financial Management Club was successfully held!
This session, supported by Spirit of America and implemented through American Councils, brought together women eager to learn practical skills to manage their personal finances.

ما خوشحال هستیم که به اطلاع برسانیم که اولین جلسه کلپ مدیریت مالی ما با موفقیت برگزار شد!

سمینار مبارزه با افسردگی

افسردگی یکی از مشکلات مهم صحت روانی است که می‌تواند بر احساسات، افکار و عملکرد روزمره افراد تأثیر منفی بگذارد. به‌منظور افزایش آگاهی و تشویق افراد به مراقبت از صحت روان این سمینار به تاریخ 30 دسامبر 2025 در دفتر شورای زنان برگزار گردید.

Depression is one of the major mental health challenges that can negatively affect individuals’ emotions, thoughts, and daily functioning. In order to raise awareness and encourage people to take care of their mental health, this seminar was held on December 30, 2025 at the Women’s Council office.

برگزاری سمینار آگاهی‌دهی حقوق زنان و شانزده روز مبارزه علیه خشونت

در راستای ارتقای آگاهی حقوقی زنان و گرامی‌داشت از کمپاین جهانی شانزده روز مبارزه علیه خشونت علیه زنان، سمینار آگاهی‌دهی حقوق زنان به تاریخ 23 دسامبر 2025 برگزار گردید. این برنامه با هدف افزایش شناخت زنان نسبت به حقوق اساسی‌شان، انواع خشونت، و راه‌های قانونی مقابله با آن طراحی و تطبیق شد.

Holding a Women’s Rights Awareness Seminar and the Sixteen Days of Activism Against Violence

In line with promoting legal awareness among women and commemorating the global campaign of the Sixteen Days of Activism Against Violence Against Women, a Women’s Rights Awareness Seminar was held on 23 December 2025. This program was designed and implemented with the aim of increasing women’s understanding of their fundamental rights, the different forms of violence, and the legal mechanisms for addressing and preventing them.
