The main objective of the PMAC 2015 World Art Contest is to invite young generation and all professionals and to contribute work of art on the concept of the conference theme. This year, the Prince Mahidol Award Conference invites students and all professionals to take part in the PMAC 2015 World Art Contest in the submissions of Two Dimensional Art and Photo under the topic ‘Global Health’. What does ‘Global Health’ mean? Our world has more than 190 countries. Geographically, some countries have large areas but some have small areas. Some countries are rich and powerful, some are poor and needy. The people in each country is also different. In some areas, people have access to complete nutritious meals and good public heath care service. However, some people don’t even have proper water and a chance to get the standard health treatment. Global Health is the idea, the movement, the practice with the collaboration between everybody in the world - children, adults, national and international institutions and states - to improve health and to encourage equity in health for all people worldwide no matter what background they come from. The Prince Mahidol Award Conference believes that the creation of artwork for the art contest on the topic 'Global Health' will motivate all people to present new perspectives of a successful world where all people live better, happy, healthy and equitably.
