🌾 ประเทศไทยร่วมขับเคลื่อนความร่วมมือระดับภูมิภาคด้านงานวิจัยนโยบายการเกษตร ผ่านเครือข่าย CAPRI
SEARCA (Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture) ร่วมกับ SEAMEO Secretariat และ ASEAN จัดกิจกรรม onboarding workshop ของเครือข่าย Consortium for Agricultural Policy Research Initiatives (CAPRI) ระหว่างวันที่ 27–28 เมษายน 2569 ณ เมืองลอสบานญอส ประเทศฟิลิปปินส์
การประชุมดังกล่าวรวบรวมผู้แทนจากสถาบันวิจัย องค์กรระดับภูมิภาค และหน่วยงานพันธมิตรจากประเทศต่าง ๆ ในเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ เพื่อส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านการวิจัยเชิงนโยบายการเกษตรบนพื้นฐานของข้อมูลและหลักฐานเชิงประจักษ์ (evidence-based policy research)
📈 ภายในงานมีการนำเสนอแนวทางการดำเนินงานของ CAPRI ซึ่งครอบคลุมโครงการวิจัยร่วม การคาดการณ์อนาคต (foresight work) ระบบฐานข้อมูลระดับภูมิภาค และกลไกการแปลงองค์ความรู้สู่การกำหนดนโยบาย โดย SEARCA ยังประกาศเตรียมเปิดตัวฐานข้อมูลสถิติการเกษตรแห่งเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ (Southeast Asian Agricultural Statistics Database: SAASD) ในเดือนพฤศจิกายน 2569 เพื่อสนับสนุนการใช้ข้อมูลร่วมกันและการตัดสินใจเชิงนโยบายที่มีประสิทธิภาพ
🌏 ผู้แทนจากประเทศไทย ฟิลิปปินส์ เวียดนาม มาเลเซีย สิงคโปร์ และประเทศอื่น ๆ ได้นำเสนอประเด็นสำคัญระดับประเทศ อาทิ ความมั่นคงทางอาหาร การเกษตรที่รับมือกับสภาพภูมิอากาศ นวัตกรรมดิจิทัล การจัดการทรัพยากรอย่างยั่งยืน และการพัฒนาห่วงโซ่มูลค่าที่ครอบคลุมทุกภาคส่วน
ประเทศไทย 🇹🇭 ยังมีบทบาทผ่านโครงการด้านการเปลี่ยนผ่านภาคการเกษตรและการเชื่อมโยงตลาด ภายใต้การสนับสนุนของ IFAD และความร่วมมือระหว่าง IFPRI และ SEARCA เพื่อส่งเสริมระบบอาหารที่ครอบคลุม ยั่งยืน และมีประสิทธิภาพมากยิ่งขึ้น 🤝 นอกจากนี้ ยังมีการเน้นย้ำความร่วมมือกับองค์กรระหว่างประเทศหลายแห่ง เช่น IFAD, IFPRI, IRRI, FAO, WHO และ UNICEF เพื่อร่วมกันขับเคลื่อนประเด็นด้านความมั่นคงทางอาหารและการพัฒนาระบบเกษตรอย่างยั่งยืนในภูมิภาค
🌱 ศูนย์แห่งความเป็นเลิศทางวิชาการด้านความมั่นคงทางอาหารแห่งมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ (CoE-GFS) ร่วมสนับสนุนและประชาสัมพันธ์ความร่วมมือระดับภูมิภาคครั้งนี้ เพื่อส่งเสริมงานวิจัยเชิงนโยบายด้านการเกษตรบนพื้นฐานของข้อมูลและหลักฐานเชิงประจักษ์ พร้อมร่วมขับเคลื่อนความมั่นคงทางอาหารและการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืนในเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ 🤝🌏

🌾 Thailand joins regional effort to strengthen agricultural policy research through CAPRI
The Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA), with the support of the SEAMEO Secretariat and ASEAN, recently organized the onboarding workshop for the Consortium for Agricultural Policy Research Initiatives (CAPRI) on 27–28 April 2026 in Los Baños, Philippines.
The workshop brought together representatives from research institutions, development partners, and regional organizations across Southeast Asia to strengthen collaboration in evidence-based agricultural policy research.
📈 The event featured presentations on CAPRI’s operational framework, including collaborative research initiatives, foresight work, regional data systems, and policy translation mechanisms. SEARCA also announced the upcoming launch of the Southeast Asian Agricultural Statistics Database (SAASD) in November 2026 to support data sharing and evidence-informed policymaking across the region.
🌏 Representatives from Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, and other Southeast Asian countries highlighted national priorities such as food security, climate-resilient agriculture, digital innovation, sustainable resource management, and inclusive value chain development.
Thailand 🇹🇭 also plays an important role through agricultural transformation and market integration initiatives supported by IFAD and implemented in collaboration with IFPRI and SEARCA, aiming to promote more inclusive, sustainable, and efficient food systems. 🤝 The workshop further emphasized collaboration with international organizations including IFAD, IFPRI, IRRI, FAO, WHO, and UNICEF to jointly advance regional food security and sustainable agricultural development.
