Share our Creations SOC - Share our Creations is a sewing community organization dedicated to promoting sustainability and environmental awareness in Phuket, Thailand.

Our aim is to create sustainable futures for local skilled people. Seeds of Change is a Community Project founded in Phuket in 2013. Using remnants and other donated fabrics, we help teach local people sewing and crafting Skills in order to give them a sustainable future. Products made by us are now sold at a few locations throughout Phuket. Current Eco Chic products include fabric elephants, dogs, beaded mask strap necklaces, handbags, cosmetic bags, and totes and so much more. Our products are Eco Chic and Unique and help save the Planet by Upcycling and Re-using Fabrics normally destined for Land Fill. All proceeds help support the Local Community – making a difference, one stitch at a time.

🎁🧵 A SPECIAL HANDMADE GIFT FOR A SPECIAL ANNIVERSARY 🧵🎁

We’ve been busy in the Share Our Creations sewing studio creating these beautiful cushions as an anniversary gift for Little Spain in Hua Hin. ❤️

And, of course, we wanted to make them the SOC way!

Each cushion has been lovingly handmade using repurposed fabrics, giving beautiful materials a new life and turning them into something completely unique. ♻️✨

We love creating gifts that have a story behind them — handmade, sustainable and made with care by our talented SOC ladies here in Thailand.

🧸 OLD UNIFORMS, NEW MEMORIES 💚♻️

We absolutely loved creating these very special teddy bears for KIS School — made from their old school uniforms. 🪡✨

Instead of uniforms being thrown away or forgotten, our talented ladies at Share Our Creations have transformed them into gorgeous keepsake bears, giving the fabric a whole new life. 🧸

Each bear carries a little piece of school history and shows just how much can be created when we choose to reuse, repurpose and reimagine. 🌿

From school uniform ➡️ to treasured teddy.
Memories kept. Fabric saved. Women supported. 💚

🧵✨ A DAY IN THE SOC SEWING STUDIO ✨🧵

There’s never a dull moment at Share Our Creations! 💚

Today the studio is buzzing with the sound of sewing machines, plenty of chatter and laughter, and lots of beautiful fabrics being given a brand-new life. ♻️

From cutting and pinning to stitching and finishing, everything we make passes through the talented hands of our wonderful SOC ladies. No mass production, no factory lines — just real people, real skills and lots of care. ❤️

Scraps are saved, discarded fabrics are repurposed, ideas are shared and, somehow, by the end of the day, a pile of fabric has become bags, elephants, sea creatures and all sorts of lovely creations. 🐘🐢👜

But SOC has always been about more than sewing.

It’s about friendship, confidence, learning new skills and creating opportunities for local women to earn a sustainable income.

Just another busy, happy and slightly chaotic day in our little sewing studio in Phuket! 🥰🧵♻️

How adorable are these little guys? 🥰

Our small elephants are handmade right here in Phuket using upcycled upholstery fabrics from the Como Hotel — beautiful leftover materials given a completely new life. ♻️✨

Every elephant is a little different, depending on the fabrics we rescue, which means no two are ever quite the same. 🧵✂️

What might once have been discarded is transformed by our talented makers into something colourful, quirky and full of character.
