While gifts & donations are amazing, by providing jobs you also give the person an income, self-confidence, pride, empowerment, value & worth. This is a ‘Not For Profit’ initiative
2. Be A Local Hero is primarily to help those without work, find work. It is not meant to be a service to help find professional trades people.
3. We aim to find suitable workers who can complete the job task offered
professionally but we do not vouch for their work performance as our main goal is to just find locals who are in need of work and connect them with those who are generous to offer the work.
4. We can help with the introduction to the worker and help with translation of the job task.
5. We can offer a suggestion of a recommended amount to pay for each job but the agreed amount will be between the hirer and worker.
6. Payments can be made directly to the worker. If payments are preferred to go through us then we can assist with that.
