CRPC Chiang Khong Child Rights Protection Centre, Chiang Khong - a shelter for girls and projects in the community to prevent human trafficking, HIV/Aids, and combat GBV

Situated in the far North of Thailand, on the Mekhong river bordering Laos, and home to several ethnic minority groups, Chiang Khong is an area which is particularly vulnerable to human trafficking – a problem which is endemic in Thailand. We operate a shelter for girls - to sponsor their education and provide them with life skills training, study trips and fun extra curricular activities. We also

run grass roots community development projects on gender based violence, child labour, sexual health and HIV prevention, and gender equality.
