Testimony Tuesday | Sairung's Story

Every life has a story, and every story is a testimony of God's faithfulness.

Sairung grew up at the Akha Youth Development Center (AYDC), where his mother faithfully served as the ministry's head cook. As the younger sister of our chairman, Mr. Luka Chermue, she spent countless years preparing meals—not only for the children who called AYDC home, but also for missionaries, pastors, volunteers, and visitors who came through our doors. Through her loving service, she nourished both bodies and hearts.

Growing up in this environment, Sairung learned the value of faith, hard work, humility, and serving others. AYDC became more than just a place to grow up—it became a family that encouraged him to pursue God's purpose for his life.

Today, Sairung serves as an Airport Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) firefighter at Mae Fah Luang International Airport (CEI). He is also a devoted husband and the proud father of beautiful twins—a son and a daughter.

His story reminds us that the seeds planted through love, discipleship, and faithful service can bear fruit for generations. The children we invest in today become the fathers, mothers, leaders, and servants of tomorrow.

We praise God for Sairung's life and for allowing T-AMF to be a small part of his journey of faith. May the Lord continue to guide and bless him as he faithfully serves both his family and his community.

ทุกชีวิตมีเรื่องราว และทุกเรื่องราวล้วนเป็นพยานถึงความซื่อสัตย์ของพระเจ้า

สายรุ้งเติบโตขึ้นที่ศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กและเยาวชนอาข่า (AYDC) โดยมีคุณแม่ซึ่งเป็นน้องสาวของประธานมูลนิธิ คุณลูกา เฌอหมื่อ รับใช้เป็นแม่ครัวประจำของพันธกิจมาอย่างยาวนาน ปรุงอาหารด้วยความรักให้กับเด็ก ๆ ที่ AYDC รวมถึงมิชชันนารี ศิษยาภิบาล อาสาสมัคร และผู้มาเยือนนับไม่ถ้วน การรับใช้ของเธอไม่ได้เพียงหล่อเลี้ยงร่างกาย แต่ยังสะท้อนความรักของพระคริสต์ผ่านทุกมื้ออาหาร

การเติบโตในสภาพแวดล้อมแห่งความเชื่อ การรับใช้ และความรัก ทำให้สายรุ้งได้เรียนรู้ถึงคุณค่าของความขยัน ความซื่อสัตย์ ความถ่อมใจ และการดำเนินชีวิตตามน้ำพระทัยของพระเจ้า AYDC ไม่ได้เป็นเพียงสถานที่ที่เขาเติบโต แต่เป็นบ้านฝ่ายจิตวิญญาณที่ช่วยหล่อหลอมชีวิตของเขา

ปัจจุบัน สายรุ้งรับราชการเป็น เจ้าหน้าที่ดับเพลิงและกู้ภัยประจำท่าอากาศยาน (Airport Rescue and Firefighting – ARFF)ณ ท่าอากาศยานนานาชาติแม่ฟ้าหลวง จังหวัดเชียงราย นอกจากนี้ เขายังเป็นสามีที่ดีและคุณพ่อของลูกแฝดที่น่ารักหนึ่งชายหนึ่งหญิง

เรื่องราวของสายรุ้งเตือนใจเราว่า เมล็ดพันธุ์แห่งความรัก การสร้างสาวก และการรับใช้อย่างซื่อสัตย์ จะเกิดผลที่ยั่งยืน เด็ก ๆ ที่เราเลี้ยงดูในวันนี้ อาจเติบโตขึ้นเป็นพ่อแม่ ผู้นำ และผู้รับใช้ของพระเจ้าในวันข้างหน้า

Ministry Monday | Raising the Next Generation of Leaders

On June 26–27, 2026, T-AMF hosted the Akha BTCP (Biblical Training Center for Pastors)

At Thai-Akha Ministries Foundation, we believe that leadership is not simply discovered—it is intentionally developed. Just as Jesus walked alongside His disciples, teaching, equipping, correcting, and sending them out, we are committed to raising leaders who will faithfully shepherd their communities and disciple the next generation.

The Gospel spreads far beyond a single sermon. It is multiplied through faithful men and women who are equipped with God's Word and committed to serving others with humility and love.

Every leader trained becomes another light in an Akha village.
Every disciple equipped becomes another disciple-maker.
This is how God's Kingdom grows.

Please join us in praying for these leaders as they return to their churches and communities to faithfully proclaim the hope of Jesus Christ. May God continue to use them to strengthen His Church and bring many to salvation.

Ministry Monday | สร้างผู้นำเพื่อคนรุ่นต่อไป

เมื่อวันที่ 26–27 มิถุนายน 2569 มูลนิธิไทย-อาข่า (T-AMF) ได้จัดการอบรม BTCP (Biblical Training Center for Pastors) สำหรับผู้สอนและผู้นำคริสตจักร

ที่ T-AMF เราเชื่อว่า ผู้นำไม่ได้เกิดขึ้นเอง แต่ต้องได้รับการสร้างและฝึกฝน เช่นเดียวกับที่พระเยซูทรงใช้เวลากับเหล่าสาวก สอน อบรม และส่งพวกเขาออกไปรับใช้ เรามุ่งมั่นที่จะสร้างผู้นำที่ยืนหยัดในพระวจนะของพระเจ้า และพร้อมสร้างสาวกให้กับคนรุ่นต่อไป

Testimony Tuesday| Jaran's Story

As an orphan, Jaran came to the Akha Youth Development Center (AYDC) and spent more than ten years growing up in a place he would come to call home.

Through God's faithfulness and the love of those who walked alongside him, Jaran learned to persevere, make the most of the opportunities before him, and pursue his passion for running with dedication and determination. His story is one of courage, resilience, and refusing to give up.

Today, Jaran's life continues to be a blessing to others—a testimony of how God can use ordinary lives for extraordinary purposes.

Although many of our students eventually leave AYDC, they never stop being part of the family. Their stories continue, and so does the impact of God's love in their lives.

Jaran's story is just one of many reminders that AYDC is more than a student center—it is a home.

"Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."

เมื่อครั้งยังเป็นเด็กกำพร้า จรัญได้เข้ามาอยู่ที่ศูนย์พัฒนาเยาวชนอาข่า (AYDC) และใช้เวลากว่า 10 ปี เติบโตขึ้นในสถานที่ที่เขาเรียกว่า "บ้าน"

ด้วยความซื่อสัตย์ของพระเจ้าและความรักจากผู้คนที่เดินเคียงข้างเขา

Throwback Thursday | Seeds of Hope

Long before the ministries of Thai-Akha Ministries Foundation grew into what they are today, God had already begun planting seeds of hope in the Akha community of Huai San Village.

These photographs capture the early days of the first community clinic, established at a time when o***m addiction was devastating many families. More than a place for medicine, the clinic became a place of healing, restoration, and hope. Through compassionate healthcare and the faithful sharing of the Gospel, countless lives and families were touched by the love of Christ.

What was planted years ago as a small seed of faith has grown into a great tree, bearing fruit that continues to bless generations. The impact of those early years can still be seen today in the ministries, communities, and lives transformed by God's grace.

We thank God for the doctors, missionaries, church leaders, and community members who faithfully served and sowed seeds that continue to bear fruit today.

"I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow."

ก่อนที่มูลนิธิพันธกิจไทย-อาข่าจะเติบโตเป็นอย่างทุกวันนี้ พระเจ้าได้ทรงเริ่มหว่านเมล็ดพันธุ์แห่งความหวังไว้ในชุมชนอาข่าบ้านห้วยส้านแล้ว

Ministry Monday | The Gospel in Action

True ministry is not confined to the walls of a church. It is found in walking alongside those who are hurting, praying with them, and extending a helping hand in times of need.

On May 13, 2026, FABC Akha and the T-AMF Foundation Relief Team traveled to Huai Khilek Akha Village in Chiang Rai to visit a family whose home had been destroyed by a fire caused by an electrical short circuit. Together, pastors, church leaders, and ministry workers came not only to pray, but also to provide essential supplies and financial assistance to help the family begin rebuilding.

We believe that caring for the spiritual, physical, and emotional well-being of a community is what makes ministry truly impactful. When God's people serve hand in hand with those who are suffering, the love of Christ becomes visible.

This is the heart of ministry.

Not simply preaching the Gospel, but living it.

"Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth."

Ministry Monday | ข่าวประเสริฐที่สำแดงผ่านการกระทำ

พันธกิจที่แท้จริงไม่ได้จำกัดอยู่เพียงภายในกำแพงโบสถ์ แต่คือการเดินเคียงข้างผู้ที่กำลังเผชิญความทุกข์ อธิษฐานเผื่อพวกเขา และยื่นมือเข้าช่วยเหลือในยามที่ต้องการ

เราเชื่อว่าการดูแลชีวิตของผู้คนทั้งด้านจิตวิญญาณ ร่างกาย และความเป็นอยู่ของชุมชน คือสิ่งที่ทำให้พันธกิจเกิดผลอย่างแท้จริง เมื่อประชากรของพระเจ้าออกไปรับใช้เคียงข้างผู้ที่กำลังทุกข์ยาก ความรักของพระคริสต์ก็จะปรากฏอย่างชัดเจน

Farm Friday | Growing, Learning, and Living Sustainably

At Thai-Akha Ministries Foundation, self-sustainability is more than a project—it is a way of life deeply rooted in our Akha heritage.

Over the summer, our students have stayed happily busy tending aquaponic gardens, enjoying sweet jackfruit grown right on campus, helping maintain the grounds, and learning the value of stewardship through everyday work. Meanwhile, Chairman Mr. Luka Chermue continues to visit local farmers and check on the cattle distributed to families, helping create opportunities for sustainable livelihoods within surrounding communities.

Much of the food served at AYDC is the fruit of many hands and many months of hard work. Through agriculture, our children learn responsibility, gratitude, and the joy of seeing God's provision firsthand.

For decades, Mr. Luka's passion and expertise in agriculture have helped bring this vision to life, preserving the self-sustaining lifestyle that has long been part of Akha culture.

"The Lord will indeed give what is good, and our land will yield its harvest."

— Psalm 85:12

Farm Friday | เติบโต เรียนรู้ และดำเนินชีวิตอย่างพึ่งพาตนเอง

ที่มูลนิธิพันธกิจไทย-อาข่า การพึ่งพาตนเองไม่ได้เป็นเพียงโครงการหนึ่ง แต่เป็นวิถีชีวิตที่หยั่งรากลึกอยู่ในวัฒนธรรมอาข่าของเรา

ตลอดช่วงฤดูร้อนที่ผ่านมา นักเรียนของเราได้ใช้เวลาอย่างมีความสุขในการดูแลระบบปลูกผักอะควาโปนิกส์ รับประทานขนุนหวานจากต้นที่ปลูกในบริเวณศูนย์ ช่วยกันดูแลรักษาพื้นที่ และเรียนรู้คุณค่าของการเป็นผู้ดูแลที่ดีผ่านการทำงานในชีวิตประจำวัน นอกจากนี้ อาจารย์ลูกา เฌอหมื่อ ประธานมูลนิธิ ยังได้เดินทางไปเยี่ยมเกษตรกรในชุมชนและติดตามการเลี้ยงโคที่ได้มอบให้แก่ครอบครัวต่าง ๆ เพื่อสร้างโอกาสในการประกอบอาชีพอย่างยั่งยืน

อาหารหลายอย่างที่เด็ก ๆ รับประทานที่ AYDC เป็นผลผลิตจากหยาดเหงื่อและการทำงานร่วมกันตลอดหลายเดือนที่ผ่านมา ผ่านการเกษตร เด็ก ๆ ได้เรียนรู้เรื่องความรับผิดชอบ ความกตัญญู และการมองเห็นการจัดเตรียมของพระเจ้าในชีวิตประจำวัน

ด้วยประสบการณ์และความรักในงานเกษตรของอาจารย์ลูกา วิถีชีวิตแบบพึ่งพาตนเองนี้จึงได้รับการสืบสานและเติบโตอย่างต่อเนื่องมาหลายทศวรรษ

Throwback Thursday | The Beginning

Long before the Thai-Akha Ministries Foundation was established, God was already writing a story of faith.

When A Tsa and A Pae Chermue encountered missionaries and placed their faith in Christ, they faced rejection and were separated from their community. Yet, through hardship, God led them to a new beginning in Thailand, where they faithfully built a Christ-centered home and community.

Their son, Luka Chermue, would grow up witnessing his parents' love and sacrifice while encountering many missionaries who opened doors to opportunities and education that would forever change his life.

What began as a story in the wilderness became a story of hope.

Moved by compassion and inspired by the blessings he had received, Luka carried a vision in his heart—to create a place where Akha children could receive not only an education, but also experience the love of Christ and grow in faith and purpose.

This photograph captures the family that started it all. On the far right stands a young Luka Chermue, beside his father, A Tsa—a man whose faith and devotion to God would leave a legacy that continues to impact countless lives through ministries such as the Thai-Akha Ministries Foundation.

"And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up."

Wellness Wednesday | T-AMF Community Healthcare & Learning Center ศูนย์การเรียนรู้และสุขภาพชุมชน T-AMF

Built through the loving support of the Patton family in memory of Mrs. Lynette Patton, the T-AMF Community Healthcare & Learning Center stands as a legacy of compassion and service.

More than a clinic, it has become a place of healing, learning, and hope for our students, their families, and neighboring communities. Through the faithful service of Nurse Da and our local healthcare providers, students receive immediate care, while health education and emergency response training help equip the next generation to serve others.

For many parents, this center brings peace of mind, knowing their children are cared for with compassion and Christ's love.

"But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds," declares the Lord.

ศูนย์การเรียนรู้และสุขภาพชุมชน T-AMF ก่อตั้งขึ้นด้วยการสนับสนุนอันเปี่ยมด้วยความรักจากครอบครัวแพตตัน (Patton) เพื่อเป็นเกียรติแก่คุณลินเน็ตต์ แพตตัน (Mrs. Lynette Patton) ผู้ซึ่งอุทิศชีวิตในการดูแลผู้คนมากมาย
