Thailand doesn't want foreigners?

The deputy governor was speaking at a ceremony marking the start of a gathering specifically ENCOURAGING foreigners to come to Thailand…and even stay!

So which one is it? No to foreigners, or yes?

I’m Thai and have seen nomads, retirees and families travel to Thailand for years, and even made it their home.

What I see and hear from those here now looks nothing like what's showing up in my feed.
