“Charisma” is a Greek word that means “gift”. Charisma refers to a special gift or ability that humans possess from birth. We believe that every human being is created with their own special and unique gift, and this makes it possible for everyone to reflect beauty and love to each other and into our world through creative ways. By learning to express and reflect beauty and l

ove in every area of our lives, we bring joy, fulfilment and meaning to life in this world. We at CHARISMA are based in Chiang Mai, Thailand and our purpose is to help people discover and express their charisma in life. We do this through social development projects, creative art activities, practical coaching for people and various other ways. On social media, CHARISMA is a community for people to access positive content that is helpful for their lives and to encourage each other.

Have you ever noticed in the story of Joseph how his brothers’ greatest mistake eventually became the very means through which their lives were saved years later? It’s remarkable how something meant for harm was transformed into something that brought life. We often worry that our past mistakes will damage our future. Yet the story of Joseph reminds us that God has the power to transform even our greatest failures and weaknesses into something good. What others intend for harm—or what we regret from our past—does not have the final say. God’s goodness is greater. So rest easy today knowing that God is good, and His goodness overcomes all things. His presence goes with you wherever you go, giving you the freedom to step into each new day with confidence, trusting that His goodness is always working for you.

เป็นนิสัยมนุษย์ที่มักจะจมอยู่กับความผิดพลาดในอดีต เรามักรู้สึกว่าอดีตยังตามหลอกหลอนเราอยู่และเมื่อมีอะไรผิดพลาดเกิดขึ้นเราก็มักคิดว่าเป็นเพราะสิ่งที่เราเคยทำมาก่อน

แต่เรื่องของโยเซฟในพระคัมภีร์แสดงให้เราเห็นอีกมุมหนึ่งของการคิด โยเซฟถูกทรยศอย่างรุนแรงเมื่อพี่ชายของเขาขายเขาไปเป็นทาส เขาอาจจะมองพี่ๆ ด้วยความโกรธและพูดว่า “พวกพี่ขายฉันมา” ก็ได้ แต่เขาเลือกมองอีกแบบหนึ่ง คือ “พระเจ้าทรงส่งฉันมา” เพราะโยเซฟเชื่อว่าพระเจ้ากำลังทำงานผ่านทุกสถานการณ์เพื่อให้เกิดผลดี เขาจึงสามารถให้อภัยและช่วยชีวิตพวกพี่ๆ ของเขาได้ โยเซฟมีสองทางเลือกในการคิด ทางแรกคือจดจ่อที่ความผิดพลาดที่เกิดขึ้น และอีกทางหนึ่งคือจดจ่อที่การทรงสถิตของพระเจ้า ซึ่งทางที่เขาเลือกได้เปลี่ยนทุกอย่างไปเลย เช่นเดียวกัน เมื่อความยากลำบากเข้ามาในชีวิตความคิดที่เราเลือกจะส่งผลต่ออนาคตของเรา ดังนั้นอย่าปล่อยให้ตัวเองติดอยู่กับอดีต แต่ให้วางใจว่าพระเจ้าทรงอยู่กับคุณ กำลังฟื้นฟูคุณ และกำลังนำคุณไปสู่อนาคตที่ดีกว่า

It is human nature to dwell on past mistakes. We often feel that our past follows us, and when something goes wrong, we assume it must be because of what we did before. But the story of Joseph shows us a different way to think. Joseph experienced deep betrayal when his own brothers sold him. He could easily have looked at them with anger and said, “You sold me.” Instead, he chose a different perspective: “God sent me.” Joseph trusted that God was working through every circumstance to bring about good, and because of this he was able to show grace and even save their lives. Joseph had two possible ways of thinking—one focused on the mistake, the other focused on God’s presence. The path he chose changed everything. In the same way, when difficulties come, the thoughts we choose will shape our future. So don’t stay trapped in the past. Instead, trust that God is with you, restoring you and leading you toward a better future.

ในช่วงเวลานี้ที่หลายๆ คนทั่วประเทศหยุดงานอย่าลืมให้เวลากับตัวเองในการพักผ่อนด้วยเหมือนกัน เพราะบ่อยครั้งการพักผ่อนเป็นวิธีที่ง่ายที่สุดและได้ผลดีที่สุดในการจัดการกับปัญหาในชีวิต ลองนึกถึงอุปกรณ์อิเล็กทรอนิกส์ของเรา เวลามีปัญหาวิธีแก้ที่ง่ายที่สุดก็คือถอดปลั๊กออกสักพักแล้วค่อยเปิดใหม่ เราก็เป็นแบบนั้นเหมือนกัน ปัญหาหลายอย่างในชีวิต ไม่ได้แก้ได้ด้วยการพยายามให้หนักขึ้นแต่แก้ได้ด้วยการหยุดและพักสักหน่อย การพักผ่อนไม่ใช่ความล้มเหลว แต่คือการรีเซ็ตตัวเองใหม่ ความซื่อสัตย์ของพระเจ้าที่มีต่อคุณไม่เคยเปลี่ยนแปลงและนั่นแหละที่ทำให้คุณสามารถหยุดพักได้อย่างสบายใจ ดังนั้น ให้พักผ่อนและมีความสุขกับช่วงเวลาดีๆ กับครอบครัวและคนที่คุณรัก เพราะการให้ความสำคัญกับการพักผ่อนเป็นหนึ่งในสิ่งที่สำคัญและช่วยเติมชีวิตให้กับตัวคุณมากที่สุด

Are you enjoying a good break this Songkran holiday? Since much of the country pauses from work during this time, don’t forget to give yourself permission to rest as well. Rest is often the simplest and most effective solution to life’s problems. Think about our electronic devices—when they stop working, the easiest fix is often to unplug them for a moment and restart. In many ways, we are the same. Many of our struggles aren’t solved by trying harder, but by stopping and resting for a while. Rest is not failure; rest is how we reset. God’s faithfulness to you never changes, and that is what gives you the freedom to pause. So take time to rest and enjoy moments with your family and loved ones. Prioritizing rest is one of the most important and life-giving things you can do for yourself.

เราทุกคนชอบสิ่งใหม่ๆ ใช่ไหมครับ เรามักรู้สึกดีเมื่อมีการเริ่มต้นใหม่

วันนี้ซึ่งเป็นวันที่สามของเทศกาลสงกรานต์ถือเป็นการเริ่มต้นปีใหม่อีกครั้ง และนี่คือความจริงที่น่ายินดีมาก คือพระเยซูเองตรัสว่าพระองค์สร้างทุกสิ่งขึ้นใหม่ นั่นหมายความว่าการเปลี่ยนแปลงครั้งยิ่งใหญ่ได้เริ่มขึ้นแล้ว สิ่งเก่าได้ผ่านไปและสิ่งใหม่ได้เข้ามาแทน ถ้าในอดีตชีวิตคุณเต็มไปด้วยความเศร้าวันข้างหน้าจะถูกแทนที่ด้วยความยินดี ถ้าเคยมีความเจ็บป่วยหรือความทุกข์พระเจ้าก็สามารถนำการฟื้นฟู กำลังใหม่ และสุขภาพที่ดีมาให้ได้ พระเจ้าทรงทำงานอยู่เสมอเพื่อนำชีวิตใหม่มาสู่สถานการณ์ที่ดูเหมือนไม่มีความหวัง ในขณะที่คุณเริ่มต้นปีใหม่นี้ ขอให้ทุกวันเต็มไปด้วยความหวังและความยินดีเพราะพระเจ้ากำลังเปลี่ยนสิ่งเก่าและสิ่งที่แตกสลายในชีวิตให้กลายเป็นสิ่งใหม่ที่ดีงาม และพระองค์ทรงเปลี่ยนความเศร้าให้เป็นความยินดี เปลี่ยนความขาดแคลนให้เป็นความอุดมสมบูรณ์ และเปลี่ยนความอ่อนแอให้เป็นกำลังใหม่

We all enjoy new things. There’s something refreshing about a new beginning. Today, the third day of Songkran, marks the start of a new year and a fresh start. And here is a wonderful truth: Jesus Himself declares that He is making everything new. This means a great change has already begun. The old has passed away, and the new has come. If sadness has marked your past, it will be replaced with gladness. If sickness or pain has troubled you before, you can look forward to renewed strength and health. God is always at work bringing new life to hopeless situations. As you begin this new year, may your days be filled with hope and celebration, knowing that God is continually transforming the old and broken parts of life into something new and good—turning sorrow into joy, lack into abundance, and weakness into strength.

สุขสันต์วันสงกรานต์นะครับ ไม่ว่าคุณจะชอบเล่นสาดน้ำกับผู้คนอย่างสนุกสนานหรือไม่เราทุกคนก็เข้าใจว่าน้ำเป็นสัญลักษณ์ของการชำระล้าง

น้ำช่วยล้างสิ่งต่างๆ ให้สะอาด ตามธรรมเนียมแล้ววันแรกของสงกรานต์ในประเทศไทยเป็นวันที่สื่อถึงการชำระล้าง คือการล้างสิ่งไม่ดี ความโชคร้าย และความผิดพลาดของปีที่ผ่านมา เพื่อเริ่มต้นใหม่อีกครั้ง

Happy Songkran! Whether you enjoy the lively water fights and splashing strangers or not, we all recognize how water symbolizes cleansing. Water washes things clean. Traditionally, the first day of Songkran in Thailand represents cleansing—washing away the misfortunes and mistakes of the past year to begin again.

Here is the good news: because of Jesus Christ, rivers of living water already flow within you. This refreshing, cleansing water is the Spirit and life of God at work in you. No matter your past, and regardless of the mistakes or regrets you may carry, Christ’s living water continually cleanses and refreshes you. So as you celebrate Songkran, let it remind you that your past does not define your identity or determine your future. Because Christ lives in you, every day is a fresh start filled with God’s love and grace. Instead of dwelling on the past, enjoy today knowing that God is with you—caring for you, protecting you, and surrounding you with His favor.

As you rest from work this weekend—or on whatever day you set aside—remember that you’re not just relaxing; you’re quitting. Not quitting in the sense of giving up, but quitting the illusion that everything depends on you. When you quit, you release the need to control outcomes. You stop measuring your worth by productivity. You let go of anxiety over what hasn’t been finished. When you rest you declare that God is in charge and you are not—and that is good news. So enjoy your rest this weekend with a peaceful heart. Your life is not hanging by your effort; it is safely held in God’s hands. He will care for you and provide for your needs in every season.

ความตายเป็นสิ่งที่เราทุกคนต้องเจอ ไม่ว่าจะผ่านการสูญเสียคนที่เรารักหรือวันหนึ่งผ่านการจากไปของเราเอง

บางคนในตอนนี้อาจกำลังเดินอยู่ท่ามกลางความโศกเศร้า แต่ขอให้คุณได้รับการปลอบใจจากความจริงข้อนี้ว่า ความตายไม่ใช่จุดหมายปลายทางสุดท้ายของมนุษย์ ความตายไม่สามารถแยกเราออกจากการทรงสถิตของพระเจ้าได้ พระเยซูตรัสว่าพระองค์ทรงถือลูกกุญแจแห่งความตายและแดนคนตาย นั่นหมายความว่าพระองค์ทรงมีสิทธิอำนาจเหนือทั้งหมด จะกล่าวได้ว่าพระองค์ทรงครอบครองสถานที่นั้นเอง และถ้าพระองค์ทรงถือลูกกุญแจพระองค์จะทรงทำอะไรกับมัน พระองค์ได้ทรงเปิดคุกที่ครั้งหนึ่งเคยจองจำมนุษย์ไว้ด้วยความกลัวและทรงนำเราออกมาสู่ชีวิต ซึ่งประตูถูกปลดล็อกอย่างถาวรแล้ว ดังนั้นถ้าวันนี้คุณกำลังเผชิญกับความตายหรือการสูญเสียขอให้ความจริงนี้นำสันติสุขและความหวังมาสู่คุณ เพราะความตายไม่ใช่จุดจบ ถ้าคุณได้สูญเสียคนที่คุณรักคุณจะได้พบกันอีกเพราะพระเยซูคริสต์ได้ชนะความตายแล้ว ความตายจะไม่มีคำพูดสุดท้ายอีกต่อไป แต่มันเป็นเพียงก้าวต่อไปสู่ชีวิตนิรันดร์ที่พระเจ้าทรงตั้งพระทัยไว้สำหรับลูกๆ ของพระองค์เสมอ

Death is something every one of us encounters—whether through the loss of someone we love, or one day through our own passing. Some of you may be walking through grief right now. But take comfort in this truth: death is not humanity’s final destination. Death cannot separate us from God’s presence. Jesus tells us that He now holds the keys of death and Hades—He has authority over it all. You could say He owns the whole place! And if He holds the keys, what will He do with them? He has opened the prison that once kept humanity bound by fear, and He has led us out into life. The doors have been unlocked for good. So if you are facing death or loss today, may this truth bring you peace and hope. Death is not the end. If you have lost someone you love, you will meet again, because death has been defeated through Jesus Christ. Death no longer has the final word—it is simply the next step into the eternal life God has always intended for His children.

การตรึงกางเขนของพระเยซูคริสต์เป็นเพียงครึ่งหนึ่งของเรื่องราวเพราะการฟื้นคืนพระชนม์ของพระองค์เป็นสิ่งที่ทำให้ภาพสมบูรณ์

ความกลัวที่ยิ่งใหญ่ที่สุดของมนุษยชาติคือความตาย ความไม่แน่นอนที่มาพร้อมกับมันและความเป็นไปได้ที่การดำรงอยู่ของเราจะสิ้นสุดลง นั่นคือเหตุผลที่บนไม้กางเขนพระเยซูทรงเข้าสู่ความตายอย่างแท้จริง แต่พระองค์ไม่ได้ทรงถูกทิ้งไว้ที่นั่น พระองค์ทรงเข้าสู่ความตายจริงๆ ทว่าไม่ใช่จุดจบ ความตายถูกเผชิญและแล้วก็ถูกทำลายลง ขอบเขตที่ลึกที่สุดของมนุษย์ไม่อาจกักขังพระองค์ไว้ได้ และถ้าความกลัวความตายเปรียบเหมือนคุก พระเยซูได้ก้าวเข้าไปข้างในและทรงพาผู้ที่ถูกจองจำออกมาเป็นอิสระ ดังนั้นเราจึงเฉลิมฉลองการฟื้นคืนพระชนม์ของพระองค์ด้วยความมั่นใจว่าอำนาจของความตายได้ถูกทำลายตลอดกาล และเราไม่จำเป็นต้องดำเนินชีวิตด้วยความกลัวอีกต่อไป (ฮีบรู 2:14–15) วันนี้ขอให้ความจริงนี้ปลดปล่อยคุณให้ดำเนินชีวิตอย่างเปี่ยมด้วยความยินดีและความสมบูรณ์ไม่ว่าคุณจะอยู่ในฤดูกาลใดของชีวิต เพราะไม่มีสิ่งใดในชีวิตแม้แต่ความตายเองที่จะสามารถแยกคุณออกจากความรักและการทรงสถิตของพระเจ้าได้

The crucifixion of Jesus Christ is only half the story—His resurrection completes the picture. Humanity’s greatest fear has always been death: the uncertainty it carries and the possibility of our existence coming to an end. That is why, at the cross, Jesus entered into death. But He was not left there. He truly entered it—yet it was not final. Death was entered, and then undone. The deepest human boundary could not hold Him. If the fear of death is like a prison, then Jesus has stepped inside and emptied it. So we celebrate His resurrection knowing that the power of death has been broken forever, and we no longer need to live in fear (Hebrews 2:14–15). Today, may this truth set you free to live with joy and fulfilment, whatever season you are in. Nothing in life—not even death itself—can separate you from God’s love and presence.

Did God really abandon Jesus on the cross? No. The Father and the Son have always been one and were never separated. When Jesus cried out these words, He was quoting the opening line of Psalm 22—a well-known song that begins in anguish but ends with a powerful declaration of God’s faithfulness and enduring presence. At the same time, there is no denying that on the cross Jesus experienced profound human pain, turmoil, and darkness—an anguish that would have felt like complete abandonment. His cry of “why” was not a loss of faith, but the honest voice of suffering. He carried our deepest question into God’s presence.
Because of this, there is no part of your inner world that God does not understand from the inside. You can bring your shame without hiding. You can bring your doubt without pretending. Jesus entered into human abandonment so that you would never have to fear being abandoned when you draw near to God. Because of the cross, you can come to Him knowing that God has met you at your lowest point—and stayed.

Have you ever wondered why Jesus didn’t avoid the cross? Many wanted Him dead, and even those who claimed to know God conspired against Him. Yet as God, Jesus could have stopped it at any moment. After years of performing miracles and saving others, He chose silence. He refused to answer violence with violence. He knew that retaliation would not bring about any good. Instead, He willingly laid down His life (John 10:17–18).
Perhaps you are facing something similar—people pushing against you, trying to pull you down. But don’t assume the only way forward is to fight back with equal force. The cross reminds us daily that choosing non-violence and self-giving love is what truly transforms the world. So when anger begins to rise, pause and take a deep breath. Remember that Jesus lives in you. He will give you the grace to endure, and you will discover a lasting joy and peace that striving can never produce.

As we enter Good Friday week, when the world remembers the death of Jesus Christ and His resurrection three days later, may you be reminded that the cross is proof that there is no darkness God will not enter to save you. In Jesus, God fully stepped into human life and experienced inexpressible suffering in the days leading up to His crucifixion (Matthew 26:38–39). He felt the crushing weight of darkness, yet He did not turn away. He knew that the only way to reveal God’s unconditional love and bring us back to Him was to give His life for us.
Perhaps you feel the weight of the world on your shoulders and cannot see a way forward. Jesus knows that feeling—He has walked that road Himself. He endured suffering, even death, so that you would not be trapped in hopelessness. Whatever you are facing today, Jesus is with you, surrounding you with His love and leading you safely through it.

เราทุกคนต่างต่อสู้กับความรู้สึกว่าเรายังไม่ดีพออย่างที่ควรจะเป็น

บางทีคุณอาจเหนื่อยกับเสียงข้างในที่คอยบอกว่าคุณควรจะดีกว่านี้แล้ว ควรมีความเชื่อมากกว่านี้ กังวลให้น้อยลง แตกสลายน้อยลง แต่ตัวตนแบบ “ควรจะเป็น” นี้มีรากมาจากความอับอายไม่ใช่จากพระเจ้า ไม่มีใครอยู่ในกลุ่มลับที่ทำถูกหมด ไม่มีชนชั้นพิเศษฝ่ายวิญญาณที่คู่ควรกับความรักแบบไม่มีเงื่อนไข และไม่มีจุดไหนที่ความอ่อนแอจะหายไปหมด ความจริงคือทุกคนมาหาพระเจ้าในแบบเดียวกันคือโดยมือเปล่า ต่อหน้าพระองค์ทุกคนเท่าเทียมกัน ซึ่งไม่มีการเปรียบเทียบ ไม่มีลำดับชั้น ไม่มีผลงานมาอวด ดังนั้นคุณไม่จำเป็นต้องแกล้งทำเป็นเข้มแข็งเมื่อคุณรู้สึกอ่อนแอ คุณไม่จำเป็นต้องตื่นตระหนกเมื่อความเชื่อของคุณสั่นไหว พระเจ้าไม่ได้แปลกใจในสิ่งที่คุณเป็นอยู่วันนี้และถ้าพระเจ้าไม่แปลกใจ คุณก็ไม่จำเป็นต้องซ่อนตัว ตอนนี้ให้หายใจลึกๆ และฟังพระสุรเสียงที่อ่อนโยนของพระเจ้าที่กำลังยืนยันกับคุณว่า พระองค์ทรงรักคุณอย่างที่คุณเป็น นี่แหละคือการหยุดพักที่แท้จริงที่สุด

We all struggle with the sense that we are not as we should be. Maybe you’re tired of the inner voice telling you that you should be better by now—have more faith, be less anxious, less broken. But this “should-self” is rooted in shame, not in God. There is no hidden group who finally get it right, no spiritual elite who qualify for unconditional love, and no point where weakness disappears. The truth is, everyone comes to God the same way: empty-handed. Before Him, the ground is level—no comparison, no hierarchy, no performance. So you don’t have to pretend you’re strong when you feel weak. You don’t have to panic when your faith wavers. God is not surprised by who you are today. And if God is not surprised, you don’t need to hide. Right now, take a deep breath and listen to God’s gentle voice reassuring you that He loves you just as you are. This is rest at the deepest level.
