Cartridges for Kids - an initiative of the Khlong Toey Community

Wandee Luasanga (Jim) was born, grew up and has been living in the Khlong Toey community his whole life. He is married with 2 children and has been working for 15 years in the messenger industry and also as social and community worker for the last 8 years including work partnering with international NGO's in the community.
Jim has teamed up with his friend Wisit Sitipol (Palm) and has been focussing on finding ways to help local children from the community to receive assistance to be able to go to school and receive education. Even though it is the law that all children must attend primary school, this is impossible for some families as they simply do not have the means to support their child/children to go to school. So Jim came up with the idea for Cartirdges for Kids.

It is very simple concept - companies donate their used printer or laser toner cartridges, and call Jim or Palm to come and pick them up. They will then be sold and 100% of the proceeds from the sales will go towards establishing study grants and scholarships for children who currently cannot afford to go to school.
Cartridges for Kids will soon have a page and other channels through which companies can track the progress of this initiative.
