THEY’RE SAFE! 🥹❤️ Yesterday, we asked for help for a mama cat and her four tiny kittens who survived the Bangkok floods. They were sheltering in a cardboard box, with a kind person braving the rain and visiting to feed mama. Thank you to everyone who offered to help. One of our regular foster families stepped up, and mama and her babies are now safe together. What a wonderful community we have. 🙏

But we need your help again. We have 6,000 baht in our bank account, and Thursday’s end of the month bills are looming:

At least 40,000 baht for shelter rent and staff
🐾 Around 5,000 baht to get Checo to hospital for an assessment
🐾 Wink’s hospital visit and blood tests, plus our utility bills, still to cover

That’s at least 45,000 baht needed, before we know Wink’s bill or add utilities. Right now, we’re at least 39,000 baht short.

WINK NEEDS TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL 💔 🏥

Our blind boy Wink has been struggling with severe diarrhoea and weight loss. We’ve been giving him fluids and antibiotics, and although he’s stable, he still has copious diarrhoea, isn’t gaining weight and isn’t improving as we’d hoped.

Wink needs a hospital assessment and blood tests this week to help us find out what’s wrong. FIP and inflammatory bowel disease are possibilities, but we don’t have a diagnosis yet.

Checo also needs to go to the hospital. We want to prioritise both cats’ health, but with rent and utility bills coming due at the end of the month, we’re worried about how we’ll cover everything.

WINK ต้องไปโรงพยาบาลสัตว์ 💔

Wink น้องแมวตาบอดของเรา มีอาการท้องเสียอย่างรุนแรงและน้ำหนักลด เราให้สารน้ำและยาปฏิชีวนะแก่น้องแล้ว แม้อาการโดยรวมจะทรงตัว แต่น้องยังคงถ่ายเหลวมาก น้ำหนักไม่เพิ่ม และยังไม่ดีขึ้นอย่างที่เราหวัง

สัปดาห์หน้า Wink จำเป็นต้องไปโรงพยาบาลสัตว์เพื่อตรวจร่างกายและตรวจเลือด หาสาเหตุว่าเกิดอะไรขึ้น อาจเป็นโรค FIP หรือโรคลำไส้อักเสบ แต่ตอนนี้เรายังไม่ทราบแน่ชัด

Checo ก็จำเป็นต้องไปโรงพยาบาลสัตว์เช่นกัน เราอยากให้สุขภาพของทั้งสองตัวมาก่อน แต่ค่าเช่าและค่าสาธารณูปโภคกำลังจะถึงกำหนดจ่ายสิ้นเดือน เราจึงกังวลว่าจะหาเงินมาจ่ายทั้งหมดได้อย่างไร

🚨 URGENT: A MAMA CAT AND FOUR KITTENS NEED A FOSTER HOME 🚨

This sweet mama and her four tiny babies have survived the terrible floods in Bangkok. Now they need somewhere safe and dry to stay 💔 they are currently being sheltered in a cardboard box in a park, with someone visiting daily to feed them. We’ve been asked to take them in, but we cannot say yes unless someone can foster the whole family for the next few weeks.

Can you give them a safe haven? Please message us if you can foster mama and all four kittens together, we can give you the basic supplies.

CHECO NEEDS TO GO TO THE ANIMAL HOSPITAL 💔

Handsome boy Checo has been having a terrible time. His bacterial flu has resolved, but sadly he remains in very poor condition and is still failing to gain weight. FIP is one possibility, but his teeth are also in terrible condition. If his blood results show that he isn’t anaemic and is well enough for a dental procedure, we will need to arrange one as soon as possible.

However, we first need a full hospital assessment and blood tests to rule out other causes. If his condition were solely due to a dental infection, we would have expected to see more improvement after antibiotics.

We need to raise at least 5000 baht to get Checo to the animal hospital and begin finding out what is wrong and plan for whatever treatment he needs. Could you please make a donation to help us get him there?

เชโก้ต้องไปโรงพยาบาลสัตว์ 💔

ช่วงนี้เชโก้หนุ่มหล่อของเราป่วยหนักมาก อาการหวัดจากการติดเชื้อแบคทีเรียหายแล้ว แต่เขายังมีสภาพร่างกายที่แย่และน้ำหนักไม่เพิ่มขึ้นเลย โรค FIP เป็นหนึ่งในความเป็นไปได้ และฟันของเขาก็มีปัญหารุนแรงเช่นกัน หากผลเลือดพบว่าเขาไม่ซีดและร่างกายพร้อมรับการทำฟัน เราจะต้องพาเขาไปรักษาฟันให้เร็วที่สุด

แต่ก่อนอื่น เชโก้ต้องได้รับการตรวจอย่างละเอียดที่โรงพยาบาลสัตว์ รวมถึงการตรวจเลือด เพื่อหาสาเหตุอื่น ๆ ด้วย หากปัญหาทั้งหมดเกิดจากการติดเชื้อในช่องปากเพียงอย่างเดียว เราคาดว่าอาการของเขาน่าจะดีขึ้นมากกว่านี้หลังได้รับยาปฏิชีวนะ

🌧️ BANGKOK FLOODING: HELP US STOCK UP FOR THE CATS 🐱

These are images from outside our shelter door. The shelter is okay for now, but heavy rain and flooding are making travel across Bangkok difficult. We have to pause adoptions until the city is moving again.

We’re also worried about food. We have around three days worth of Whiskas dry cat food left, with more rain forecast. A pet shop near us has limited stock, and we’d like to buy what we can while it’s still available and accessible.

Could you help us build up a few extra days of food for the cats in our care? Any donation towards a bag would help us prepare.

YES, WE’RE ASKING FOR FLEA TREATMENTS AGAIN 🐱

We know you see this request from us often. Flea prevention is a monthly need for the cats in our care, and next week it’s time to treat them again. Keeping up with treatment is non-negotiable in a cat shelter, we urgently need 80 doses and have to raise the money today to get them in time.

🐾 80 treatments × 200 baht = 16,000 baht
