Soroptimist International of Bangkok Chartered in 1977, our Bangkok-based club is part of Soroptimist Int’l South East Asia Pacific.

Soroptimist means "best for women" – a combination of the words “sorority” and “optimist.” Our mandate is simple: we are women supporting women, voluntarily contributing our time and professional experience to community–based projects that directly benefit women and girls. The many Soroptimist clubs around the world focus on different projects and programs in their communities.
