ed to host this 4th international innovative arts festival featuring not only an exhibition of first-class innovative arts and crafts from across Thailand and our neighboring countries in the ASEAN region, but also a special seminar under the topic “Craft Trends in ASEAN.” The event invites architects, designers and artists working in the creative fields of contemporary, innovative arts and crafts in the ASEAN region (Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Thailand) to exchange ideas and experiences as well as predict the coming trends for the near future of innovative arts. The first seminar of its kind to be held in the region, Craft Trends in ASEAN 2015 invites an inspirational group of creatives representing professions ranging from architecture, art and design to research and business to speak and share there visions and experiences under the theme - “Weaving The Past, Creating The Future.”

ศูนย์ส่งเสริมศิลปาชีพระหว่างประเทศ (องค์การมหาชน) จะจัดเทศกาลนวัตศิลป์นานาชาติครั้งที่ 4 โดยในปีนี้นอกจากจะมีการแสดงผลงานนวัตศิลป์ชั้นนำของประเทศไทยและกลุ่มประเทศอาเซียนแล้ว ยังมีความพิเศษตรงที่มีการจัดสัมมนาในหัวข้อ Craft Trends in ASEAN ซึ่งเป็นการเชิญคนทำงานสร้างสรรค์ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับงานนวัตศิลป์และงานออกแบบร่วมสมัยของประเทศในอาเซียนอันประกอบไปด้วย บรูไน กัมพูชา อินโดนีเซีย สปป.ลาว มาเลเซีย ฟิลิปปินส์ สิงคโปร์ เวียดนาม เมียนม่า และไทย มาร่วมวงแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้และประสบการณ์ พร้อมกับทำนายแนวโน้มของงานนวัตศิลป์ในอนาคตอันใกล้นี้ด้วย
งานสัมมนา Craft Trends in ASEAN 2015 จัดขึ้นมาเป็นครั้งแรกในภูมิภาคนี้ภายใต้กรอบความคิด “Weaving The Past, Creating The Future” โดยผู้แทนของแต่ละประเทศที่จะร่วมแสดงวิสัยทัศน์และประสบการณ์มาจากหลากหลายวิชาชีพ ทั้งนักออกแบบ สถาปนิก ศิลปิน นักวิจัย และนักธุรกิจ
