I didn’t make this flyer for likes. I made it because I’m tired. ✊🏿
Tired of seeing our youth divided. Tired of injustice being normal.
So I decided to take a stand.
UNITED WE RISE. TOGETHER WE TRANSFORM.
This is my personal call to every youth in Volta and across Africa: Let’s unite. Africa Must Unite.
I am leading this: YOUTHS AGAINST INJUSTICE

We Build Our Africa.

Who Are The Ewe?
The Ewe are not just a tribe. We are a nation that was divided by maps.
Our oral history says we came from Egypt, settled in Oyo in Nigeria, then moved to Tado in Togo, and finally fled the wicked King Agorkorli of Notsie in the 17th century. That escape from the walled city of Notsie is our Exodus. We walked backward to confuse our footprints. That is why Ewe wisdom says "knowledge is like walking backward - you face the past to see the future."
We settled along the Volta and the coast - from the Volta River in Ghana to the Mono River in Benin. That is why you stand on the beach in this picture and it is perfect. The Ewe have always been a people of the water and the land. Fishermen, farmers, drummers, warriors, weavers.
Our language, Eʋegbe, is tonal and proverbial. Our religion before Christianity was Vodun - not the Hollywood idea, but Vodu, meaning spirit. We believe Mawu is the supreme Creator, and that ancestors, Togbuiwo and Mamawo, walk with us.
And our greatest export to the world is sound. The drum language - Agbadza, Borborbor, Atsia. The master drum, Atsimevu, does not just keep time, it speaks.

To the Public, Leaders, and People of Ketu South and Beyond:
As we witness the devastating impact of the recent torrential rains and severe flooding across our communities in Ketu South submerging our markets, homes, schools, and farmlands we are reminded that the climate crisis is not a distant threat. It is happening right here, right now, challenging our resilience and our livelihoods.
In these trying times, we must look to a vital source of truth, clarity, and hope: our youth.
Why We Must Listen to the New Generation
• They Speak the Truth of the Future: Our young people are not just bystanders; they are the ones preaching the "gospel" of what tomorrow requires. They see the reality of climate change, they understand the urgency of sustainable infrastructure, and they are demanding action before it is too late.
• A Call for Immediate Action: Listening to them means moving past rhetoric. It means enforcing proper physical planning, protecting our waterways, upgrading our drainage systems, and investing heavily in flood-mitigation infrastructure to protect our coastal and market communities.
• Empowering Future Leadership: The EbeGod Foundation stands firmly behind the voices of our youth. Their insights, passion, and vision for a resilient Africa are the exact blueprints we need to survive and thrive.
