Instead of people having to travel far to a hospital, the clinic travels to communities, farms, and rural areas.
What we usually do
- Primary healthcare: Check-ups, blood pressure, diabetes screening, HIV testing, TB screening
- Treatments: Basic medicines, wound care, family planning and ART Refills
- Health education: Nutrition, hygiene, chronic disease management
- Referrals: If someone needs hospital care, they help connect them
Why it matters:
1. Access: Reaches people in the less marginalized and impoverished places and surrounding areas who can't easily get to a big clinic
2. Prevention: Catches problems early before they get serious
3. Convenience: No transport costs or long queues
4. Community trust: Meets people where they are, often with local health workers
