A significant milestone for the Commonwealth Sport Movement! 🇮🇳🌍✨

At the recently concluded Commonwealth Sport General Assembly in Glasgow, member nations took a historic decision: the City of Amdavad, India, has officially been awarded the rights to host the 2030 Commonwealth Games.

These will be Centenary Games, marking 100 years since the inaugural edition held in 1930. This moment not only celebrates the legacy of the Games but also ushers in a new era of innovation, collaboration, and opportunity for all Commonwealth nations.

The Eswatini Olympic & Commonwealth Games Association joins the rest of the Commonwealth family in congratulating Amdavad and looks forward to participating in what promises to be a truly memorable chapter in Commonwealth sport. 🇸🇿🤝🇮🇳

The Gender Equality & Safe Sport Forum has officially begun!

Today, the Eswatini Olympic & Commonwealth Games Association proudly welcomed key guests — including our colleagues who visited yesterday for benchmarking, together with Mrs. Malebo Raditladi-Nkgakile from the AUSC Safe Sport & Safeguarding for All Initiative — as we deepen conversations around building safe, inclusive and empowering sporting environments.

The forum was officially opened by the EOCGA President, Mr. Adam Mthethwa, who emphasized the importance of protecting every athlete and ensuring equal opportunity across all levels of sport.

This gathering marks an important step forward as we continue strengthening systems, policies, and awareness toward a healthier, more equitable sporting landscape for Eswatini.
