Eswatini Red Cross Societyeswatiniredcross joined the mtneswatini MTN Eswatini with partners at Hosea Inkhundla, today.

Through the Silele Clinic, eswatiniredcross provided health care services in screening for cancer, diabetes and hypertension to the attendees. HIV Pre-Exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) was also provided by the Silele clinic.

Day two of the staff training on safe guarding wrapped the day with rigorous engagement. Given different scenarios, participants were tasked with helping a person, in the community, affected by a Red Cross personnel’s misconduct feel safe to report the issue; and expect that necessary action will be taken.

The Chooselife project is in Malkerns this week, training 25 officers from His Majesty's Correctional Services, on Gender Equality and Mental Health.

The training is on-going and it was officially opened by Becerra Marta Jose Angel. The EU has funded the National Society, through their partner, the Finnish Red Cross Society; to enable access to emaswati in need of Mental Health and Gender Equality related assistance.

The training will span over five days, ending on Friday. Nyasha Mkombo presented remarks on behalf of the Red Cross, while the HMCS was represented by Officer Mancoba Nkambule.
