FRIES Model of Consent: Informed

Informed consent means making a decision based on clear, honest, and complete information. You can only truly say "yes" when you know what you're saying yes to.
Communicate before you participate.

FRIES Model of Consent: Reversible

Consent can be withdrawn at any time.
Anyone can change their mind about what they feel like doing- at any point. Even if:
• it was their idea
• they've done it before
• they said "yes" earlier
• you're already in the middle of things

Respecting a "no" is just as important as hearing a "yes."

FRIES Model of Consent: Freely Given

Consent should be a choice, not an obligation. Do what YOU want- not what you feel pressured, expected, manipulated, or guilted into doing.

Your choice. Your voice. Your boundaries.

FRIES has more to do with consent than you might think.
Over the next 5 days, we'll be breaking down the FRIES model of Consent- a simple but powerful way to understand what healthy, respectful consent really looks like.

Consent is more than just saying "yes". It's about communication, respect and making sure everyone is comfortable and willing Every Step of The Way.
Join us each day as we unpack each letter of FRIES and learn how each principle helps build healthier relationships and prevent sexual violence.

Sibebe Survivor 2026 Hike DONE & DUSTED!

We made it! 💪
At Survivor Eswatini Support Group (SESG), we believe that mental wellness is just as important as physical wellness. Today's hike was more than just reaching the summit; it was about resilience, determination, and teamwork.

We ran. We cruised. We walked. We dragged ourselves when our bodies wanted to give up 😅.
But one thing we never did was quit.

Just like the journey towards healing, some paths are steep, some are exhausting, but with support, courage, and persistence, every step brings us closer to the finish line.

Today, on World Brain Day, we celebrate the incredible organ that shapes our thoughts, emotions, memories, and who we are.

As Survivor Eswatini Support Group, we recognize that sexual violence doesn't only leave physical scars; it can also have a profound impact on the brain and mental wellbeing. Trauma can affect how survivors think, feel, remember, trust, and cope with everyday life. But healing is possible.

Protecting the brain also involves preventing violence, promoting mental health, and ensuring that every survivor has access to the support they deserve.

Together, let's create a world where every mind is safe, valued, and empowered.

We are here to listen. Contact us on (268) 7619 8557 for more information or if you need someone to talk to.

Your voice has power. Your actions can create change.

Real change starts with ordinary people making extraordinary choices:
✨ Choosing to speak up.
✨ Choosing to believe survivors.
✨ Choosing to educate.
✨ Choosing to take action.

Sexual violence is not inevitable; it is preventable. Every conversation, every act of support, and every stand against abuse brings us one step closer to a safer, more compassionate community.

Together, we can create a world free from sexual violence because your voice matters. Your actions matter.

If you or someone you know needs support, or if you'd like to learn more about our work, we're here for you.

The mission remains the same: raising awareness, providing support, and standing with survivors of sexual violence.

Every conversation matters. Every story deserves to be heard. Every survivor deserves to know they are not alone.

Our vision is a world free from sexual violence. A world where healing, justice, and hope are accessible to everyone. We believe that change begins one conversation at a time.

If you need someone to talk to, or know someone who does, our counsellors are here to provide a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space where you can speak freely, offload your burdens, and begin your healing journey.

You are not alone. You DON'T HAVE TO CARRY THE WEIGHT ALONE, WE'RE HERE FOR YOU. One conversation at a time. One survivor at a time. One step closer to ending sexual violence. Together, we can create a safer tomorrow.
