On 10 January 2026, we embarked on a wellness walk with Enactus Uneswa Luyengo Campus EKhaya Fitness & Wellness Centre.

Pushing our limits together, the walk aimed to promote physical wellness on campus, student engagement, and visibility. The journey to Ngwenyameni ended with team-building activities and fundraising—reminding us that wellness is stronger when it’s shared.

At the heart of every great movement are the hands that serve.

We’re proud of our amazing volunteers at the University of Eswatini ,Luyengo Campus for their dedication to ending student hunger and promoting equity on campus. We’ve built a strong community of beneficiary students from low-income households — a space where our volunteers provide support, hope, and a sense of belonging.

Together, we are building a future where no student studies on an empty stomach. 🍎📚

Researching Food Insecurity in Higher Education 📊

Staying true to the United Nations commitment to leave no one behind in the development process, Lend a Hand Charitable Foundation is working to ensure that no student is left behind because of hunger.

This week, our team visited the University of Eswatini’s Kwaluseni campus to raise awareness about our ongoing research study and survey on student food insecurity and hunger. We engaged class representatives to help share the survey with their peers knowing that student voices are at the heart of real change within our campuses.

We invite students at the University of Eswatini (K, L, M) to participate in this important survey designed to understand the economic and food security challenges faced by university students.

Your insights are vital in helping us gather evidence that will inform humanitarian support initiatives aimed at addressing food needs and socio-economic challenges within our academic community.

Next stop: Mbabane Campus, continuing our mission to give students a voice in our food insecurity research study.
