اليوم ليس عادياً لفرح الطفلة ذات الـ 12 عاماً، وربما تشرح ابتسامتها كل شيء، وهي في طريقها إلى المدرسة التي انقطعت عنها ثلاث سنوات، وعادت بفضل شجاعتها وتمسكها بحلمها.
فرح تقيم مع عائلتها في البغيلية ريف وتعاني منذ ولادتها، مشكلة صحية أدت إلى شلل في الطرفين السفليين، ولأجل تسهيل تنقلاتها، ومنحها مزيد من الاستقلالية، قدّم لها كرسياً متحركاً، مع متابعة جلسات العلاج الفيزيائي لتحسين حركتها وحالتها.
ومنذ أيار 2026، تلقى 250 شخصاً خدمات العلاج الفيزيائي والرعاية التمريضية والمعينات الحركية، التي يوفرها الهلال الأحمر العربي السوري، بدعم الاتحاد الدولي لجمعيات الصليب الأحمر والهلال الأحمر، لتعزيز دمج ذوي الإعاقة ومساعدتهم على التعايش مع حالتهم بشكل أفضل.

Every child deserves the chance to learn, grow, and pursue their dreams, regardless of the challenges they face.
Today is no ordinary day for 12-year-old Farah. Her smile says it all as she makes her way back to school after a three-year absence, made possible by her determination and unwavering commitment to her dream.
Farah lives with her family in Al-Bughayliyah, rural Deir ez-Zor. Since birth, she has been living with a health condition that resulted in paralysis of her lower limbs. To support her mobility and give her greater independence, provided her with a wheelchair, alongside ongoing physical rehabilitation sessions aimed at improving her mobility and overall condition.
Since May 2026, 250 people have benefited from physical rehabilitation services, nursing care, and mobility aids provided by , with support from International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), helping promote the inclusion of persons with disabilities and enabling them to live more independently.
