SARC - Refugees Project in Syria began in 1991 since Syria is the only Arab country that any Arab citizen can come to without an entry visa. This project is based on an agreement between the Syrian Arab Red Crescent and UNHCR since UNHCR law provides that work whether in Syria or any other countries unless through implementing partner, Organization ignore the laws of the country in which they oper
ate and any beneficiary should be subject to the laws of this country and apply them. Therefore, the Syrian Arab Red Crescent is considered as the main partner able to act all over the Syrian territories through its branches and sub branches. This project aims to help any beneficiary, coming to Syria from different nationalities, in all humanitarian aspects in order to provide different kind of assistance, material, medical, hygienic, psycho-social support and education for all age groups f children, young men and women.
