تمكين الأُسر المتضررة في خان العسل، حلب: مشروع تقديم مساعدات نقدية متعددة الأغراض لتلبية احتياجاتهم الأساسية.

بتمويلٍ من مكتب الأمم المتحدة لتنسيق الشؤون الإنسانية من خلال صندوق سوريا الإنساني، قامت منظمة ZOA بتقديم مساعدات نقدية طارئة متعددة الأغراض وغير مشروطة للمجتمعات المتضررة في خان العسل، ناحية جبل سمعان، محافظة حلب.

شمل المشروع تقديم ثلاث دفعات نقدية على مدى ثلاثة أشهر لـ 1,149 عائلة، مع إعطاء الأولوية للأسر الأكثر هشاشة. حيث تلقت كل عائلة 100 دولار أمريكي في كل دفعة، بالإضافة إلى بدل مواصلات بقيمة 5 دولارات.

هدفت المساعدات النقدية إلى تحسين وصول الأسر إلى احتياجاتها الأساسية وتقليل اعتمادها على استراتيجيات التكيف السلبية، بما مكّنها من تلبية أولوياتها الأكثر إلحاحاً بكرامة ومرونة.

Empowering Affected Families in Khan Al-Assal, Aleppo: Multi-Purpose Cash Assistance to Meet Essential Needs

With funding from UN OCHA through the Syria Humanitarian Fund (SHF), ZOA has provided emergency Multi-Purpose Unconditional Cash Assistance (MPCA) to the affected communities in Khan Al-Assal, Jebel Saman sub-district, Aleppo Governorate.

The project involved distributing three instalments of cash transfer over a three-month period project to 1,149 families, prioritizing the most vulnerable. Each family received $100 per instalment, along with a $5 transportation allowance.

This MPCA intervention aimed to increase the households’ access to basic needs and reduce their reliance on negative coping strategies, enabling families to meet their most urgent priorities with dignity and flexibility.

تعزيز إنتاج الوردة الدمشقية في النيرب عبر توفير المدخلات الزراعية الأساسية ودمج التقنيات الحديثة في
ريف إدلب.

ستقوم منظمة زوا بتقديم مجموعة من المدخلات الزراعية الأساسية لنحو 75 مزارعاً في النيرب، لتسهيل عملية زراعة وحصاد الوردة الدمشقية. كما سيتلقى المزارعون تدريبات مكثفة عن الزراعة الذكية مناخياً، بما في ذلك أفضل ممارسات التسميد، تقنيات المكافحة العضوية للآفات، الزراعة البينية، وغيرها.
وفي إطار التحضير لهذه الأنشطة، قام فريق زوا بزيارة إلى قرية كللي في ريف إدلب لتوثيق الممارسات الناجحة والتقنيات الفعّالة المستخدمة من قبل مزارعي الوردة الدمشقية في المنطقة، خاصة تلك التي تسهم في إطالة موسم الحصاد وزيادة الإنتاج. ستعمل زوا على نقل هذه الممارسات إلى مزارعي النيرب لتمكينهم من تعزيز انتاج الورد بنجاح.
يأتي توفير المدخلات الزراعية والتدريب ضمن مشروع جديد ستنفذه زوا يركز على بناء قدرة المجتمعات الضعيفة على الصمود في محافظة حلب. حيث تهدف زوا إلى دعم مزارعي النيرب وأسرهم، تحسين جودة وإنتاجية الوردة الدمشقية، وضمان استدامة هذا الإرث الزراعي الثمين.

Enhancing Damascene Rose Production in Al-Nayrab Through the Provision of Essential Agricultural Inputs and the Integration of Modern Techniques from Rural Idlib.

ZOA will provide a set of essential agricultural inputs to approximately 75 farmers in Al-Nayrab to facilitate the cultivation and harvesting of the Damascene Rose. In addition, farmers will receive intensive training in climate-smart agricultural practices, such as best fertilization techniques, organic pest control methods, inter-cropping, and more.

In preparation for this activity, ZOA team visited Kelly village in rural Idleb to document the successful practices and effective techniques used by local Damascene Rose farmers, particularly those that help extend the harvest season and increase production. ZOA will transfer these best practices to the farmers in Al-Nayrab so they can successfully boost the rose production.

The provision of agricultural inputs and training is part of a new project implemented by ZOA that focuses on building the resilience of vulnerable communities in Aleppo. Through this activity, ZOA aims to strengthen the resilience of farmers and their families, improve the quality and quantity of the Damascene Rose yield, and ensure the sustainability of this valuable agricultural heritage.

مياه نظيفة اليوم… غدٌ أقوى: تدخل زوا يُمهّد الطريق لتعافٍ مستدام

ضمن مشروع "الاستجابة المشتركة لسوريا" وبتمويل من التحالف الهولندي للإغاثة عبر وزارة الخارجية الهولندية، نجحت منظمة زوا في تأهيل جزءٍ حيوي من شبكة مياه الشرب في بلدة زملكا بالغوطة الشرقية (ريف دمشق). وشمل التدخل استبدال خطوط الأنابيب القديمة والمتهالكة، بالإضافة إلى قطع التجهيزات الميكانيكية، وتوسيع الشبكة لتوصيل المياه إلى أسرٍ كانت غير موصولة على الشبكة سابقًا.

وقد ساهم هذا التحسين في تعزيز متانة واستدامة نظام المياه المحلي، ما يضمن وصول مياهٍ نظيفة وآمنة بشكلٍ أكثر موثوقية للاستخدام المنزلي. وسينتفع من هذا المشروع نحو 6,000 شخص من سكان زملكا، مُسهمًا في دعم التعافي الشامل لمجتمعٍ ما زال يُعيد بناء نفسه بعد سنوات من الصراع.

Clean Water Today, Stronger Tomorrow: ZOA’s intervention Paves the Way for Lasting Recovery

ZOA, as part of the Syria Joint Response Consortium, has successfully rehabilitated a critical section of the drinking water network in Zamalka, Eastern Ghouta (Rural Damascus Governorate), with funding from the Dutch Relief Alliance through the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The rehabilitation included replacing aging pipelines and mechanical fittings and extending connections to previously underserved households.

These improvements significantly strengthen the resilience and sustainability of the local water supply system, ensuring safer and more reliable access to clean water for domestic use. Approximately 6,000 vulnerable individuals will benefit from the improved water supply, which will support broader recovery in a community that is still rebuilding after years of conflict.

أكملت منظمة ZOA بنجاح أعمال تأهيل طريق الوصول الزراعي في الكوم – خان أرنبة ، القنيطرة. شمل المشروع إزالة التربة والصخور ومخلفات الحفر، ورصف الطريق بطبقة إسفلتية متينة، بالإضافة إلى تركيب قناتان للصرف الصحي لتخفيف من الفيضانات خلال فصل الشتاء وموسم الأمطار.

ويوفّر هذا الطريق المُحسَّن الآن وصولاً أفضل لنحو 1,818 مزارعًا إلى أراضيهم والأسواق المحلية، مما يقلّل بشكل كبير من صعوبات النقل ويعزز الإنتاجية الزراعية.

A New Road for Farmers in Al Kom – Khan Arnaba, Quneitra

ZOA has successfully completed the rehabilitation of the
agricultural access road in Al Kom – Khan Arnaba, Quneitra. The project included clearing soil, rocks, and excavation debris; paving the road with a durable asphalt surface; and installing two drains to mitigate flooding during the winter and rain season.

The upgraded road now provides approximately 1,818 farmers with improved access to their lands and local markets, significantly reducing transportation challenges and boosting agricultural productivity.

مياه آمنة لمجتمع زملكا

بدأت منظمة زوا، بتمويل من التحالف الهولندي للإغاثة عبر وزارة الخارجية الهولندية, مشروع تأهيل بئر أبو سلامة في زملكا بريف دمشق. ويشمل المشروع توريد المعدات الميكانيكية والكهربائية الضرورية، وتركيب نظام ألواح شمسية كهروضوئية لضمان استمرار تشغيل البئر أثناء انقطاع التيار الكهربائي.

ومن المتوقع أن يوفّر البئر بعد تأهيله وصولاً أفضل وأكثر استدامة إلى مياه آمنة للاستخدام المنزلي لما يقارب 6,000 نسمة من سكان زملكا.

Safe Water for the Community in Zamalka
With funding from the Dutch Relief Alliance (DRA) through the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), ZOA has launched the rehabilitation of the Abo Salameh well in Zamalka, Rural Damascus.

The project will provide the well with essential mechanical and electrical equipment, as well as a photovoltaic solar panel system, to ensure it remains operational during power outages.

Once completed, the rehabilitated well will provide approximately 6,000 residents of Zamalka with improved and sustainable access to safe water for domestic use.
