Another step yet !!

AYU today conducted graduation and issuing of certificates ceremony to two cohort-2 classes in Kapara center.

The YCMs completed the 9months training which is to empower them with basic business soft skills and small English for the work place as well as numeracy (beginners)

This Week AYU continue to celebrate the number of cohort 2 Youth Corp Members who graduated from USAID Youth Empowerment Activity in Mapel.

Despite the inability to move, Lual Guei a 28 years old uses a wheelchair to move and attain classes for the pass 9months duration of training.
He shared his excitement on the opportunity, soft business and work readiness skills he learned. Lual have never attended a school before but is now able to read, write and manage his own business.

AYU on Friday distributed empty sacks to Youth Corp Members in Mapel.

The Youths undergoing 9 months training on Basic Education and work readiness skills under the USAID'S YEA project will use the Sacks for storing and packaging of their crops.

They youths express their gratitude to WAO, EDC and USAID's YEA for their continuous support.

AYU celebrated International Youth Day IYD today in Mapel.

AYU together with EDC and WAO commemorated the IYD today in Mapel, Jur River County under the THEME
"Click for Progress".

The IYD is a special day dedicated to youths around the globe to be commemorated on 12th-August annually.

In this year's event, we gather together with our Youth Corp Members both graduated Cohort 1 and Cohort 2 YCMs, trainers, Area Youths, women and stakeholders.
The day was graced with demonstrated skit from few learners representative showing what they have gained from YEA activities since enrolling into the program.
