CHRISTMAS MESSAGE FROM YEDO SOUTH SUDAN

On behalf of the leadership and entire fraternity of YEDO South Sudan (Youth Empowerment Development Organization), I extend warm Christmas greetings to all young people, partners, stakeholders, and the people of South Sudan.

As we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, this season reminds us of the values of hope, love, unity, peace, and service to humanity. Christmas gives us an opportunity to reflect on the year behind us and renew our commitment to building a better and more inclusive future for our nation.

YEDO South Sudan remains steadfast in its mission of empowering young people, nurturing leadership, promoting innovation, and supporting youth to become positive agents of change in their communities. We firmly believe that when young people are empowered with skills, opportunities, and knowledge, they become the backbone of sustainable development and peace in South Sudan.

During this festive season, we encourage the youth to remain resilient, focused, and committed to contributing positively to national development. Let us embrace unity, reject violence, and work together for a peaceful and prosperous South Sudan.

Youth Empowerment Leads to Development

Youth empowerment is a key pillar for sustainable development in any nation. When young people are given the opportunity, trust, and space to lead, they demonstrate creativity, innovation, and commitment that can bring meaningful change to their country. Young people possess the energy, ideas, and potential needed to drive national development and shape a better future.

Today, 23rd December 2025, we proudly celebrate the remarkable achievements made by young leaders in Central Equatoria State through the official launching of EBC TV and the Central Equatoria Newspaper. These milestones clearly demonstrate that empowering youth is not just an investment in individuals, but an investment in the development of society as a whole.

The success of these initiatives proves that when young people like H.E. Emmanuel Adil Anthony the Governor, H.E. Paulino Lukudu Obede the Deputy Governor, Hon Nyarsuk Patrick the Minister of Information and the rest of the young leaders are entrusted with responsibility, they rise to the occasion and contribute positively to nation-building. Their involvement in media and information dissemination strengthens transparency, promotes unity, and gives a voice to the people.

As a country, we must continue to support, guide, and empower our youth in all sectors, even in the Faith-Base institutions, because they are not only the leaders of tomorrow, but also the partners of today in achieving sustainable development.

MESSAGE OF SOLIDARITY TO THE TRADERS AND BUSINESS COMMUNITY OF CUSTOM MARKET

On behalf of all who stand with you in this difficult moment, I extend my deepest sympathy and heartfelt solidarity to the traders and business community of Custom Market following the devastating fire that occurred yesterday.

This tragedy has destroyed shops, goods, and livelihoods—leaving many families with nothing but ashes where their hard work once stood. The loss you have suffered is not only a personal burden; it is a heavy blow to a nation already struggling under significant economic challenges. Your pain is felt far beyond the market. It touches all of us.

We grieve with every trader who watched years of savings, sacrifice, and effort disappear in a moment. We stand with every family whose income has been suddenly taken away. And we honour the courage of those who are already trying to face the reality of rebuilding.

At a time when our country is facing great economic hardship, such a disaster deepens the struggle for survival. Yet even in this dark moment, we affirm our shared hope that recovery is possible, that support will come, and that the spirit of unity will carry the community through.

Please know that you are not alone. We stand beside you—with compassion, with prayer, and with commitment—to ensure that what has been lost will not be forgotten, and that the journey toward restoration will be shared.

May God strengthen every heart, comfort every family, and provide the resilience needed for rebuilding. Our thoughts and prayers remain with the entire Custom Market community during this time of grief and uncertainty.

It's not too late to apologize to God for the wrong you have committee. He's still giving you a chance to repent and apologize to Him when you are still at your current age.

Remember, it will be too late in a time you will not expect it.

There is no cleverness is the following:
1. Riding motorcycle.
2. Driving vehicle.
3. Flying the plane.
4. Swimming in the river.
And etc.

All you have to do is to be careful when riding the motorcycle, driving a vehicle, flying the plane or swimming in the river.

Put in mine that, safety of yourself or the passengers are very, very important.
Don't play with your life or the lives of your passengers.

Ride, drive, fly or swim with a total care and responsibility as a responsible person.
God loves you and He has a good plan for you, patience pay a lot but hurry lose a lot.
