The humanitarian food distribution exercise conducted in Juba marked a significant step in supporting vulnerable communities across the city.
Holistic Wellness Initiative South Sudan in collaboration with Wani Igga Foundation successfully distributed food items to national inmates at the National Prison, providing relief and hope to individuals in custody who continue to face difficult living conditions. The initiative aimed at promoting dignity, compassion, and social responsibility by ensuring that inmates received essential food support during this challenging period.
In the same spirit of humanity and solidarity, the organizations extended the food distribution program to orphanage homes and internally displaced persons residing at Mangateen IDPs Camp in Juba. The support reached orphaned and vulnerable children, widows, and displaced families who are struggling with food insecurity and limited access to basic necessities.
The donation, generously provided by Spread Truth Africa, reflected a shared commitment to uplifting communities in need and strengthening humanitarian response efforts across South Sudan.
The HWISS sincerely expresses heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to all partners whose contributions was made possible. Special thanks go to Spread Truth Africa (STA) for the generous donation, as well as to volunteers and stakeholders who dedicated their time and effort to ensure the successful implementation of the exercise.
Our continued partnership and compassion remain a source of hope and encouragement to vulnerable populations across Juba and beyond. Thank you.
