Today, something beautiful happened. Saferworld put a tool in our hands that will take us further than we've ever gone before: a car to serve our communities!

For a while now, mobility has been one of our biggest hurdles in some parts of the country. But today, we say goodbye to those delays and hello to easier movement, more visits, and greater impact.

Saferworld, "thank you" doesn't capture it all, but from the bottom of our hearts, we are grateful. You have made our work lighter. You have made our vision clearer. Thank you for the great partnership we have had for five years!!

In the culturally rich Budi County, lively bead-making groups come together to create stunning and vibrant designs that reflect their heritage. These artisans skillfully craft intricate patterns using colorful beads, often made from local materials. Each piece tells a story, showcasing traditional techniques passed down through generations while incorporating contemporary styles. The atmosphere is communal and joyful, with members sharing techniques, ideas, and laughter as they collaborate on their artistic endeavors. This thriving community not only preserves the art of bead-making but also fosters a sense of identity and connection among its members.
The Loro Women, IGA group supported by the EU Project through the initiative "Root of Generations," are currently engaged in designing these vibrant beads, which help them earn a living.
