Appreciation Message to NAVCA Staff.

My sincere appreciation goes to all NAVCA staff for your dedication and commitment throughout the year. I truly appreciate each one of you for the roles you have played across the different states.
Special thanks go to our dedicated staff in Juba, particularly Ms. Rhoda Nyakuoth David Kuet, for her exceptional commitment. Rhoda has voluntarily taken it upon herself to clean the office early every morning, without expecting anything at the end of the month. Despite having children to care for, she continues to serve selflessly. She has also been providing tea to staff at no cost. Thank you, Rhoda, for the excellent work and for your generous spirit.

I would also like to appreciate the Renk County team in Upper Nile State for their strong advocacy for the rights of persons with disabilities and for overall coordination efforts. Special recognition goes to Mr. G*i Gatjani, who, during a challenging period, volunteered himself without pay and managed to visit War Child Holland, UNOCHA, WFP, and Save the Children to advocate for the most vulnerable people. Your commitment is highly commendable.

My appreciation also goes to Chuol Ranlel for the great work in Unity State, as well as staff in Greater Nasir, Duk, Fangak, Leer, Mayendit, Panyijar, Pibor, and Torit. I sincerely thank Charles Apolo and Ladiss Ongango for working day and night to develop and submit proposals.

Special thanks to Ms. Angelina William Oyath, the Chief Executive Director of Nation Wide Vulnerability Concern Agency (NAVCA), for her continuous support to the team and for ensuring that all programs are implemented without delay.

To all staff in Juba, thank you for your endless support toward our achievements. NAVCA is proud of you. Let us continue working hard to serve and protect the most vulnerable members of our communities.

As we look ahead, by God’s grace, next year we are tasked with collecting data on all persons with impairments across all 10 states plus the 2 administrative areas.

To those celebrating Christmas, I wish you a joyful Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Thank you all once again.

War and Flooding Crisis in Fangak County, Jonglei State: Renewed Call for Rescue and Humanitarian Support!.

Fangak County, Jonglei State, is once again facing a dual crisis of conflict and devastating flooding. The compounded emergencies have left thousands of families stranded, vulnerable, and in urgent need of rescue and life-saving assistance.
The Nation Wide Vulnerability Concern Agency (NAVCA), as a national NGO and charity organization, is renewing its call for urgent humanitarian intervention. We appeal to the humanitarian partners, and the international community to immediately prioritize rescue operations, emergency relief supplies, and protection for the people of Fangak County.
The people of Fangak are bearing the brunt of displacement, food insecurity, and lack of access to health care, shelter, and safe water. Without rapid response, the situation risks escalating into a full-scale humanitarian disaster.
NAVCA stands in solidarity with affected communities and reaffirms its commitment to working with all stakeholders to ensure that no life is left behind in this critical moment.

Nation Wide Vulnerability Concern Agency (NAVCA)
Statement of Solidarity with Flood-Affected Communities in Panyijiar, Fangak, Leer, and Mayendit.

The Nation Wide Vulnerability Concern Agency (NAVCA) expresses its deepest sympathy and solidarity with the families and communities affected by the recent devastating floods in Panyijiar, Fangak, Leer, and Mayendit.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of lives, destruction of homes, displacement of families, and the widespread damage to livelihoods and farmlands. These floods have further heightened the already fragile humanitarian situation, leaving thousands of vulnerable people in urgent need of food, clean water, shelter, and medical support.

NAVCA stands with the flood-affected communities during this difficult time. We are committed to working alongside local authorities, humanitarian partners, and community leaders to ensure a timely and coordinated response that prioritizes the safety, dignity, and resilience of the most vulnerable—particularly women, children, and the elderly.

We call upon the international humanitarian actors, and well-wishers to scale up assistance to the flood victims and support long-term solutions that will strengthen community resilience against future climate-related disasters.

Together, we can help restore hope, protect lives, and rebuild livelihoods.

In solidarity,
William Lang Mayen
Deputy Chief Executive Director
Nation Wide Vulnerability Concern Agency (NAVCA)
