Why God? Our community has been going through a critical moment since last year, 2025. There has been no rest for us. 😭

Dobuol Kang L*l Reath was shot in crossfire in Matar Woreda, Gambella, Ethiopia, on 5th May 2025, by a person who was targeting someone else.
Dobuol is no longer with us 😭

It is heartbreaking to see young men, who are our future, lose their lives at this time.

The person responsible must be brought to justice before it is too late.

May his precious soul rest in peace ✌️🕊️😭

Bad news 😔😭

The SSPDF and local army youths clashed yesterday, 5th May 2026, in Lindit Village under Homkhor Boma, Dichin Payam, Nasir County, UNS.

The SSPDF had deserted Burebiey Barrack and were on their way to their final destination. The army youths reportedly attempted to welcome them peacefully, but unfortunately one of the youths forcefully took a gun from a soldier and shot him. He died on the spot. In response, his fellow servicemen opened fire on the army youths, leading to the deaths of 16 people, with several others wounded. The SSPDF also reportedly suffered unidentified casualties and injuries during the battle.

All the deceased are believed to be from Dichin and Koat Payams, Nasir County.

After the fighting, the SSPDF forces in Nasir Town intervened and brought them back to Nasir Town.

In the same tragic news, one person was killed in Nasir Town while another survived. Both are from Kier-wan Payam, Nasir County.

According to eyewitnesses, the situation is calm now.
