Welcome to Civilian life little young persons.
YACA appreciates the stakeholders who participated in the demobilization of 22 underage persons in upper Nile

The SSPDF division in Malakal has released 22 children previously recruited into the army following a joint verification of over 700 young recruits. The process was carried out by the National DDR Commission with support from UNMISS and UNICEF. Officials said the move reflects South Sudan’s commitment to ending child recruitment, while urging families to support the children’s reintegration and keep them in school. UNMISS also called for continued nationwide efforts to protect children and end grave violations against them.
