Under our ongoing partnership with Union of Journalists of South Sudan. The Stakeholders Forum is underway at in Rumbek.
The forum has brought together representatives from the State Ministry of Information, members of the Lakes State Legislative Assembly, the State High Electoral Committee, civil society and various media houses to deliberate on the role of media during the upcoming election period.
Discussions and presentations are also focusing on the Cyber Crimes and Computer Misuse Act (2026) and its implications for journalists, digital safety, and responsible reporting in the electoral context.
NPA stands alongside journalists and media institutions, committed to strengthening their safety, capacity, and independence to inform the public with integrity and courage.
