As we begin the 16Days of Activism against Gender based violence under the team Unite to end Digital Violence against all women and girls,
we are focusing on our youngest and most vulnerable: our girls.
When a girl is safe, she can learn. When she is respected, she can lead. But when she faces violence- whether it’s harassment on street, abuse at home or bullying online- her potential is stifled
Protecting girls isn’t just “women’s work” it is the responsibility of fathers, brothers, teachers and leaders
Let’s build a world where the only thing a girl has to worry about is her homework

YWCA Women peace and security annual conference kicked off this morning with a total.of 70 participants. This year's theme ( From policy to power) Unifying women peace and security voices in South Sudan.

YWCA works with vulnerable women and girls in Juba who are struggling to raise their children through hardship. Most of them are single mothers with no one to give them support. They engage in economic empowerment activities to raise money for their daily survival.
