الحمد لله رب العالمين، والصلاة والسلام على سيدنا محمد وعلى آله وصحبه أجمعين.

يسر الأمانة العامة للمجلس الإسلامي بجنوب السودان أن تتقدم إلى فخامة رئيس الجمهورية، ومؤسسات الدولة، والعلماء والدعاة، وجميع المسلمين في جنوب السودان، والأمتين العربية والإسلامية، بأصدق التهاني وأطيب التبريكات بمناسبة حلول العام الهجري الجديد 1448هـ.

وإننا إذ نستقبل هذا العام المبارك، نستذكر معاني الهجرة النبوية الشريفة وما تحمله من قيم الإيمان والصبر والتضحية والوحدة والتعايش السلمي، سائلين المولى عز وجل أن يجعله عاماً مليئاً بالأمن والاستقرار والرخاء، وأن يحفظ بلادنا وشعبنا من كل سوء، وأن يوفق الجميع لما فيه الخير والصلاح.

كما ندعو أبناء الوطن كافة إلى تعزيز قيم التسامح والتآخي والتعاون من أجل بناء مجتمع متماسك يسوده السلام والعدالة والتنمية.

Graduates the First Batch of Quran Memorizers

In an achievement regarded as a significant milestone in the journey of Quranic education in the country since independence, Dar Al-Salam Quran Memorization Complex celebrated the graduation of its first class of memorizers of the Holy Quran.
The ceremony was attended by Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Kual Kuat, Secretary of Fiqh and Da’wah at the Islamic Council of South Sudan and Supervisor of Quranic Schools and Memorization Centers, alongside a number of scholars, preachers, representatives of charitable and Islamic organizations, parents, and community leaders.
The administration of the complex stated that the graduation of this class represents the fruit of years of dedication and hard work in the field of Quranic education and youth development. They emphasized that the newly graduated memorizers will play an important role in serving their communities, strengthening the mission of mosques, and promoting Islamic values.
Organizers explained that this achievement will help address the need for qualified Imams and religious leaders to serve mosques across the country. They also expressed their aspiration to graduate more Quran memorizers in the coming years to meet the growing needs of religious institutions in different states.
The management extended their sincere appreciation and gratitude to all individuals, charitable organizations, scholars, and benefactors who contributed to supporting the complex financially and morally. They affirmed that the continuation of such efforts will enhance the spread of Quran memorization centers and help prepare generations who uphold and live by the teachings of the Holy Quran.
The ceremony concluded with prayers for the graduates, asking Allah to grant them success and steadfastness, and for all supporters to be rewarded abundantly. The event was marked by a deeply spiritual atmosphere filled with joy and pride in this blessed accomplishment.

مجمع دار السلام لتحفيظ القرآن الكريم يخرج الدفعة الأولى من حفظة كتاب الله

في إنجاز يُعد محطة مهمة في مسيرة التعليم القرآني بالبلاد بعد الاستقلال.وقد حضر مراسم الاحتفال الشيخ الدكتور محمد كوال كوات، أمين الفقه والدعوة بالمجلس الإسلامي جنوب السودان والمشرف على الخلاوي ومراكز تحفيظ القرآن الكريم، إلى جانب لفيف من العلماء والدعاة من المنظمات الدعوية والخيرية وأولياء الأمور والشخصيات المجتمعية.
وأكدت ادارة المجمع أن تخريج هذه الدفعة يمثل ثمرة ثلاثة من الجهد والعطاء في مجال تعليم القرآن الكريم ورعاية النشء، مشيرين إلى أن الحفظة الجدد سيكون لهم دور مهم في خدمة المجتمع وتعزيز رسالة المساجد ونشر القيم الإسلامية.
وأوضح المنظمون أن تخريج هذه الدفعة يسهم في سد الحاجة إلى الأئمة والمؤهلين لقيادة عدد من المساجد، معربين عن تطلعهم إلى تخريج المزيد من الحفظة خلال الأعوام المقبلة لتلبية احتياجات المؤسسات الدينية في مختلف الولايات.
وتقدم القائمون على المشروع بالشكر والتقدير لكل من ساهم في دعم المجمع مادياً ومعنوياً، من أفراد ومؤسسات خيرية ودعاة ومحسنين، مؤكدين أن استمرار هذه الجهود سيعزز من انتشار مراكز التحفيظ ويسهم في إعداد أجيال تحمل كتاب الله وتعمل به.
واختتم الحفل بالدعاء للخريجين بالتوفيق والثبات، ولجميع الداعمين بالقبول والجزاء الحسن، وسط أجواء إيمانية سادتها مشاعر الفرح والاعتزاز بهذا الإنجاز المبارك.

تعلن عن انطلاق #إقصائيات الدورة الثالثة من مسابقتها في ، التي خصصت هذه السنة للسيرة النبوية الشريفة، وذلك تنفيذا للتوجيهات السامية لـ صاحب الجلالة الملك محمد السادس، نصره الله، الرامية إلى تعزيز العناية بسنة المصطفى صلى الله عليه وسلم وترسيخ قيمها في نفوس الناشئة والشباب الإفريقي.

وتجرى هذه الإقصائيات خلال شهر يونيو 2026 على مستوى الفروع الثمانية والأربعين للمؤسسة بمختلف البلدان الإفريقية، بإشراف لجان تحكيم محلية تضم نخبة من العلماء والمتخصصين في الحديث النبوي الشريف وعلومه، لاختيار المتأهلين إلى المرحلة النهائية للمسابقة.

وتأتي هذه الدورة في سياق الاحتفاء بمرور خمسة عشر قرنا على صلى الله عليه وسلم، واستجابة للتوصية الصادرة عن المجلس الأعلى للمؤسسة في نسخته السابعة، والتي دعت إلى تخصيص موضوع المسابقة الحديثية للسيرة النبوية، بما يشمل أحاديث الشمائل المحمدية، والخصائص النبوية، ودلائل النبوة.

وتشتمل المسابقة على مائة حديث نبوي موزعة على ثلاثة أصناف؛ يهم الأول استظهار أربعين حديثا في دلائل النبوة، فيما يخصص الثاني لاستظهار ثلاثين حديثا في الشمائل المحمدية مع شرح غريب ألفاظها، أما الصنف الثالث فيعنى باستظهار ثلاثين حديثا في الخصائص النبوية مع التمكن من بعض قواعد مصطلح الحديث.

وتجسد هذه المسابقة حرص مؤسسة محمد السادس للعلماء الأفارقة على الإسهام في خدمة السنة النبوية الشريفة، من خلال تشجيع الشباب الإفريقي على الإقبال على حفظ أحاديث رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وفهم مضامينها واستحضار هديها في واقعهم، بما يعزز مكانة الحديث النبوي باعتباره المصدر الثاني للتشريع الإسلامي.

توجيه عاجل ومهم

بقلوب مؤمنة بقضاء الله وقدره، واحتسابًا للأجر عند الله تعالى، يوجّه الأمين العام لـ المجلس الإسلامي لجنوب السودان جميع أئمة وخطباء ولجان المساجد في العاصمة والولايات إلى إقامة صلاة الغائب على روح الفقيد الراحل باشمهندس الشيخ بيش اكور، وذلك عقب صلاة الجمعة مباشرة.

لقد كان الفقيد رحمه الله من الرجال الذين أفنوا أعمارهم في خدمة الدين والوطن والمجتمع، وأسهموا في ترسيخ قيم الحوار والتعايش والعمل الإسلامي، فنسأل الله أن يجعل ما قدمه في ميزان حسناته.
اللهم اغفر له وارحمه، وعافه واعف عنه، وأكرم نزله، ووسع مدخله، واغسله بالماء والثلج والبرد، ونقِّه من الذنوب والخطايا كما يُنقَّى الثوب الأبيض من الدنس. اللهم اجعل قبره روضة من رياض الجنة، وافسح له فيه مدَّ بصره، واجعل أعماله الصالحة شفيعةً له يوم يلقاك.
اللهم ألهم أهله وذويه ومحبيه الصبر والسلوان، واربط على قلوبهم، وأجرهم في مصابهم، واخلفهم خيرًا. وإنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون.
يرجى من جميع المساجد الالتزام بإقامة صلاة الغائب والدعاء للفقيد، سائلين الله تعالى أن يتغمده بواسع رحمته ومغفرته، وأن يسكنه الفردوس الأعلى مع النبيين والصديقين والشهداء والصالحين، وحسن أولئك رفيقًا.

Condolence and Tribute
The Secretary General of South Sudan Islamic Council , together with his deputies, natoinal secretaries, and the entier staff of South Sudan Islamic Council , with hearts full of faith in Allah’s decree and destiny, mourns and pays tribute to the Muslim Ummah, the people of South Sudan, and the academic and scholarly community on the passing of the late, by Allah’s permission:Engineer ÀSheikh Bech Akor
who passed away to the mercy of his Lord on the blessed morning of Friday, 5 June 2026, in White Nile State, Republic of Sudan, after a life devoted to service, sacrifice, and dedication to religion, nation, and society.
May Allah have mercy upon him. He was among the most prominent Islamic leaders in South Sudan and one of the national figures who contributed significantly to promoting the values of dialogue, tolerance, consensus, and peaceful coexistence. He was also one of the founders of the Islamic Council of South Sudan and an active leader in Islamic, social, and intellectual work.
Throughout his distinguished career, the deceased held several important positions, including:
Professor of Engineering at the Institute of Technological Colleges, Sudan University of Science and Technology.
Former Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of South Sudan Muslims in Khartoum.
Former Governor of Jonglei State.
Former Advisor to the President of the Republic of Sudan.
Through these roles, he made valuable contributions to serving Muslim causes and advancing development and stability.
Those who knew him remember him as a man of integrity and dignity, noble character, generous spirit, courageous in defending the truth, and broad in knowledge. He combined academic expertise, political vision, and commitment to Islamic advocacy, remaining throughout his life a model of dedication, sincerity, and selfless service to his nation and community.
The passing of Engineer Sheikh Beesh represents a great loss to the Muslim community in South Sudan and to the academic and national spheres. However, we find solace in the legacy of good deeds, exemplary conduct, and memorable contributions he leaves behind—an enduring legacy that will remain alive in the memory of future generations.
As the Islamic Council of South Sudan entrusts its deceased leader to Allah, it extends its deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to his family, relatives, loved ones, students, colleagues, and to all the people of South Sudan, praying that Allah Almighty envelop him in His vast mercy and forgiveness, grant him the highest ranks of Paradise, and reward him abundantly for his noble services to Islam, Muslims, and the nation.
Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return.

يحتسب فضيلة الامين العام للمجلس الاسلامي ونائباه وامناء الامانات والعاملون بالمجلس الإسلامي جنوب السودان، بقلوب مؤمنة بقضاء الله وقدره، إلى الأمة الإسلامية، وإلى شعب جنوب السودان، وإلى الأسرة الأكاديمية والعلمية، رحيل المغفور له بإذن الله تعالى:
الباشمهندس الشيخ بيش أكور.
الذي انتقل إلى جوار ربه صباح يوم الجمعة المبارك الموافق 5 يونيو 2026م بولاية النيل الأبيض بجمهورية السودان، بعد حياة حافلة بالعطاء والبذل والعمل في خدمة الدين والوطن والمجتمع.
لقد كان الفقيد، رحمه الله، من أبرز القيادات الإسلامية في جنوب السودان، وأحد الرموز الوطنية التي أسهمت في ترسيخ قيم الحوار والتسامح والتوافق والتعايش، كما كان من مؤسسي المجلس الإسلامي جنوب السودان، ومن القيادات الفاعلة في مسيرة العمل الإسلامي والاجتماعي والفكري.
وشغل الفقيد خلال مسيرته العديد من المواقع المهمة، فكان:-

●أستاذاً للهندسة بمعهد الكليات التكنولوجية بجامعة السودان للعلوم والتكنولوجيا.
● والأمين العام السابق للمجلس الأعلى لمسلمي جنوب السودان بالخرطوم.
● كما تولى منصب والي ولاية جونقلي الأسبق.
● وعمل مستشاراً لرئيس جمهورية السودان،
وأسهم من خلال هذه المواقع في خدمة قضايا المسلمين وتعزيز مسيرة التنمية والاستقرار.
وقد عرفه الناس عفيف اليد واللسان، واسع الخلق، كريم السجايا، شجاعاً في الحق، وموسوعي المعرفة، حيث جمع بين الخبرة الأكاديمية والرؤية السياسية والالتزام الدعوي، وظل طوال حياته مثالاً للعطاء والإخلاص والتفاني في خدمة وطنه ومجتمعه.
إن رحيل الشيخ المهندس بيش يمثل فقد كبير للمجتمع المسلم في جنوب السودان وللوسط الأكاديمي والوطني، غير أن عزاءنا فيما تركه من سيرة طيبة وإرثٍ من العمل الصالح والمواقف المشهودة التي ستظل حاضرة في ذاكرة الأجيال.
وإذ يحتسب المجلس الإسلامي لجنوب السودان فقيده عند الله تعالى، فإنه يتقدم بأصدق التعازي والمواساة إلى أسرته الكريمة وأهله ومحبيه وتلامذته وزملائه، وإلى جميع أبناء جنوب السودان، سائلاً المولى عز وجل أن يتغمده بواسع رحمته ومغفرته، وأن يسكنه الفردوس الأعلى من الجنة، وأن يجزيه خير الجزاء على ما قدمه من أعمال جليلة في خدمة الإسلام والمسلمين والوطن.

South Sudan Hajj Affairs Office Confirms Adherence to Scheduled Return Flights

The South Sudan Hajj Affairs Office (SSDHAO) has confirmed that all South Sudanese pilgrims are required to return to the country on the same flights through which they arrived in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in accordance with the organizational arrangements agreed upon with airlines and the relevant authorities.
In an information memorandum issued from Makkah on May 31, 2026, the Deputy Chairman and Executive Director of the Office, Mr. Hassan Rahmatallah Kulum, stated that no changes or substitutions to return flights will be permitted, nor will any pilgrim be transferred to a flight other than the one assigned to them. Departures outside the officially approved passenger lists are also prohibited.
He explained that these measures are intended to ensure the smooth organization of the departure process, facilitate coordination among the concerned agencies, and guarantee the safety of pilgrims as well as the orderly completion of their return journey after performing the Hajj rituals.
The Office called on all pilgrims to strictly adhere to the flight schedules assigned to their respective groups, noting that the first return flight is scheduled to depart on June 3, while the final flight will leave on June 12, 2026, God willing.

مكتب شؤون حجاج جنوب السودان يؤكد الالتزام برحلات العودة المجدولة

أكد مكتب شؤون حجاج جمهورية جنوب السودان (SSDHAO) أن جميع الحجاج الجنوب سودانيين ملزمون بالعودة إلى البلاد عبر الرحلات نفسها التي قدموا من خلالها إلى المملكة العربية السعودية، وذلك وفق الترتيبات التنظيمية المتفق عليها مع شركات الطيران والجهات المختصة.
وأوضح نائب رئيس المكتب والمدير التتفيذي الاستاذ حسن رحمة الله كُلم، في مذكرة إعلامية صادرة من مكة المكرمة بتاريخ 31 مايو 2026، أنه لن يُسمح بإجراء أي تغييرات أو تبديل في رحلات العودة، أو نقل أي حاج إلى رحلة أخرى غير المخصصة له، كما يمنع الخروج عن القوائم الرسمية المعتمدة.
وأشار إلى أن هذه الإجراءات تأتي في إطار ضمان حسن تنظيم عمليات التفويج والعودة، وتسهيل التنسيق بين مختلف الجهات المعنية، بما يضمن سلامة الحجاج وانسيابية مغادرتهم بعد إكمال مناسك الحج.
ودعا المكتب جميع الحجاج إلى الالتزام التام بالرحلات المحددة لكل فوج، مؤكداً أن أولى رحلات العودة ستنطلق في 3 يونيو المقبل، فيما تغادر آخر رحلة في 12 يونيو 2026، بمشيئة الله.

Eid Al-Adha Festival Paints a Vibrant Picture Across South Sudan’s Major Cities

Major cities across the Republic of South Sudan witnessed remarkable festive celebrations on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha 1447 AH / 2026, as the cities of Juba, Wau, and Malakal transformed into lively arenas filled with love, brotherhood, and community coexistence, reflecting a spirit of national unity and solidarity among the country’s diverse communities.
Public squares and mosques were filled with worshippers from the early morning hours, while Eid festivals and social and entertainment programs organized by official and community institutions, in cooperation with the Islamic Council and higher Eid committees, continued amid large public participation and the presence of religious, community, and youth leaders.
In the capital, Juba, the Higher Committee headed by Sheikh Abdulrahim Daniel, Deputy Secretary-General for Development and Investment Affairs, played a significant role in mobilizing support and resources to ensure the success of the Eid celebrations. The festivities were held in an outstanding manner that painted a unifying national picture, as citizens exchanged greetings and visits, alongside organizing communal Eid meals and distributing sacrificial meat to needy families in an atmosphere filled with solidarity and compassion.
In Wau, Sheikh Ismail Turki Amer, Secretary of the Islamic Council Branch in Western Bahr el Ghazal State, supervised a diverse and well-coordinated program. The celebrations included official activities attended by the State Governor, Lt. Gen. Sharif Daniel Sharif, and members of his government, reflecting the city’s cultural diversity and religious tolerance. Participants emphasized that Eid represents an important occasion to strengthen peaceful coexistence and reinforce the values of love and harmony among citizens of one nation.
Meanwhile, in Malakal, the celebrations were marked by the official presence of the Deputy Governor of Upper Nile State, Mr. Deng Akwei Kak, several parliamentarians, and leaders of the Islamic Council in the state led by Sheikh Ashwil Kor, Secretary of the Upper Nile Branch, and the Chairman of the State Shura Council, Sheikh Gargik Yieng Kikuei. The festivities also featured broad community participation and youth-led humanitarian initiatives aimed at bringing joy to children and underprivileged families. Citizens described the atmosphere as a message of hope that demonstrates society’s ability to overcome challenges and build a future based on peace and stability.
Organizers of the festivals affirmed that this year’s Eid Al-Adha celebrations were held under the themes of national unity, social cohesion, and solidarity, noting that the events contributed to strengthening social ties and highlighting the bright image of South Sudan as a land of coexistence and tolerance.
The activities witnessed across the three cities reflect the growing spirit of stability and social openness, sending positive messages about the importance of religious occasions in promoting peace, unity, and national solidarity.
