Simas (South Sudan Integrated Mine Action Service)

Simas (South Sudan Integrated Mine Action Service) SIMAS is a South Sudanese Mine Action NGO with technical accreditation from UN to conduct mine action operations in the country.

SIMAS operates in accordance to international mine action standards and all its field operations are organised and supervised by national staff. This is a result of national capacity building project executed by the Swiss Foundation for Mine Action (FSD). The two organisations have been in a partnership since 2006.
