Our Story
IPCA is a nonprofit, independent, non-governmental South Sudanese organization found in 2010, registered in South Sudan Ministry of justice under registration No.1899, registered South Sudan Relief Rehabilitation Commission (SSRRRC) under No.621 And under South Sudan National NGO Forum. IPCA Mission: To pilot in building peaceful, equitable, democratic and healthy South Sudan where every South Sudanese lives in freedom and appreciate the vast prospective of diversity. IPCA Vision: A peaceful, equity and healthy South Sudan where every South Sudanese lives in freedom and appreciate the vast prospective of diversity IPCA objectives: Initiative for Peace Communication Association (IPCA) aims to: 1. To reconstruct and strengthen capability of South Sudanese on conflict management, peace building, shape public policies, rule of law, respect for human rights, democratic values in South Sudan. 2. To implement public health programmes including therapeutic primary health care, HIV/AIDS education, care and treatment, hygiene promotion, management of malnutrition, water, environmental sanitation and health infrastructure development. 3. To promote equity by empowering every South Sudanese to have access to basic human needs and enable them to live productively with pride. 4. To build surveillance across South Sudanese communities on issues such as corruption, free election, equity, freedom of expression and free media. IPCA stakeholders: IPCA is engaging with South Sudan Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Central Equatoria state Ministry of Youth, Culture and Sports, Ministry of Social Development, United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural organization (UNESCO), Association for Media Development in South Sudan (AMDISS), Association of Media Women in South Sudan (AMWISS), Union of Journalists of South Sudan (UJOSS), South Sudan Law Society, Democracy International and South Sudan Women Lawyers Association. Coordination Clusters: IPCA is working in coordination with Child Protection Cluster, WASH, food security and Livelihood, GBV Cluster and Protection Cluster.
