My heart aches for the people of Sudan, where a genocide is unfolding. We stand in urgent solidarity with every civilian caught in the violence, especially women and children enduring unspeakable suffering and trauma. The world must not look away. Sudanese Civilians (women, children, and youths) are bearing the brunt of the war, facing deliberate and indiscriminate attacks, ethnically targeted violence, and mass killings. These acts are potential war crimes and crimes against humanity.
The AU, UN, IGAD, and all regional partners should urgently unify diplomatic efforts into a single, cohesive framework to push the parties back to the negotiating table in good faith
Women, Children, and other vulnerable people in Sudan have suffered for too long. Their lives and future hang in the balance. ACT NOW to bring about urgent, lasting peace and justice in Sudan.

IPCA celebrates women's contributions in the development process in South Sudan

Time is gone!

Interview on Covid 19 with the Exactive Director for Initiative for Peace Communication Association (IPCA) Mr. Joseph Edward.
Where he commented on how COVID_19 has affected South Sudan and the world at large. -He said
Since the beginning of COVID_19 pandemic IPCA came up with strategies of educating it's staff on how to implement the preventive measures against COVID_19 and how the staff can use the knowledge they have obtained to help their family members.
-IPCA also did share materials with preventive messages around the office premises so that it can reach the community on how they can prevent Covid 19 , IPCA has attended several meetings with partners and government on how best we can harmonize our programming and mobilize resources and see how best we can expand our activities beyond where we work and how to reach the communities at the grassroot level.
-The challenges facing IPCA in this COVID_ 19 crisis.
-No major resources or funding for national NGO's to respond or scale up major awareness for the communities on COVID_9 prevention but we are doing out best to make sure we are taking part in this situation.
-His message to the public
The only way to overcome COVID_19 is by embracing the preventive measures like washing hands,sanitizing , avoiding body contact ,keeping social distance and always report any suspected person with Corona Virus symptoms to the ministry of health because that's the only way for us to protect our families and friends.
